Question about Sharp LC52LE640U 52 inch 120hz AQUOS LED TV [LC-52LE640U]
I have a Sharp LC-52LE640U LDC 52" TV.. I bypassed the single blinking error code by pressing channel down and volume up buttons while plugging it in.. I got a picture and everything looks good.... except that the right half of the screen is a couple of shades dimmer than the left?? Is this the backlights? or power supply? or what else might it be? Thanks in advance..

Try resetting the TV. Here's how to do it - Unplug the TV's power cable. Keep the Channel Down and Volume Up buttons on the TV pressed and plug the power cable back into the outlet. You will hear a click when you plug it back in if the reset is successful. Hopefully this should restore your video and audio.

My 32D40U would turn on for 5-10 seconds (Please Wait would appear) and the screen would go black. Sound Normal. It would also sometimes do this after running 5-10 minutes. I read somewhere that the inverter board would come loose and lose proper ground. I took the set apart, removed the board, and cleaned up the grounding points. I reassembled using some copper paste on the ground points and LockTite on the screws. I used some contact cleaner on all the connectors going to the board. I noticed two cables that are covered with copper shield tape where too tight at their connectors and repositioned the tape to give them some slack. The problem hasn't occurred since the fix.

I had a similar problem. Fleeting video, then audio only for few seconds and then nothing except the green power LED blinking on and off.
I changed the power inverter board, backlight inverter boards and power supply board but still the problem is not gone.
Just 18 month old TV and out of warranty.
