Hello Joe;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service technician. I live in Baltimore, Maryland, USA., so the units will be in English not Metric.

There are several areas that need to be checked:

1.) In the top of the dispenser behind the frame your may have a drip proof tube. This is about a 1/4" diameter plastic tube with a bulb to collect drips. Sometimes the bulb cracks and leaks. This tube is replaceable, but should only be replaced by a skilled technician.

2.) OK, lets assume this is not the problem. So, lets look at the water dispenser solenoid valve. The spool in the valve collects calcium or particles from the water supply and does not completely seat, or the valve screen becomes plugged and you do not have enough water pressure to close the valve. This valve is behind the unit. After removing the lower back cover you will see two solenoid valves. The valve with the smaller plastic tubing feeds your ice maker, and the valve with the larger diameter plastic tube is your water dispenser water line. This you can replace your self if you are handy.

3.) You may have lost line pressure. It is not uncommon for the water shut off valve to deteriorate. The valve seat can become clogged restricting the supply water pressure. You need at least 60 PSI (Pounds Per Square Inch) to seat the valve.

Now, where is the problem?

If you have small ice cubes and a slow water flow you need to replace the water supply shut off valve.

If your ice cubes are normal size you do not have a water shut off valve problem and need to replace the water solenoid valve. If you are handy you can do this yourself.

This is based on a assumption you do not have a leak at the water bulb area on your plastic fill tube.

SOURCE: Water leaks from tube at the bottom of fridge for water dispenser only

If it is a plastic compression fitting you can tighten each one a little(careful not to tighten them too much cause they can strip out) Use a small crescent wrench with a back up wrench.

Water dispenser will not dispense water. I have replaced the water filter and held the dispenser down for 2 minutes as suggested in the operation manual - still not working

You have two points where you can check the dispenser water. At the rear where the water supply comes in is the water inlet valve. If you disconnect the dispenser water line and then see if the water comes out when you try the dispenser. If it's slow here there is a valve our water supply problem. If it's normal, disconnect it at the bottom of the freezer door and try again. If it's normal here it may be frozen in the door. If this is the case open the door till it thaws. A blanket over the opening will prevent thawing of all the food.

Water from dispenser very slow

You could have a piched H2O line somewhere near where the door connects at the bottom front corner or a bad water valve could be the issue. There should be a water container in the rear of the inside of the fresh food side that stores water. Make sure its not leaking or has any obstructions to it or the lines to and from it.

Water leaking from icemaker on outside

If this is your water dispenser leaking
Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

Water dispenser leaks, ice maker won't make ice. Hve disconnected line at bottom front, and tried blowing out the lines, no help. Model EDQ22DQFNX00

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.

For the ice maker problem, Try swapping the wires on the dual water inlet valve. Then try the water dispenser. The water should go to the ice maker. This will tell you weather or not the ice maker valve is working and if the line is clear. If it does, the problem is the ice maker and not the valve and line.

Accumulation of water in bottom of fridge

You probably need a new door deal for the freezer. When you cet too much condensation in the freezer, it drains down the back of the refrigerator section during the defrost cycle. Check under the produce bins for a drain. If you don't have one, you're not alone. I used to have have to wipe mine out every other day until I finally replaced the seal.
