My panasoniic PT-60LCX64 doesnt turn on the butten on the on witch blinks green then turns red how can i fix it if fixible

Pull the front panel off and you will see a srew on the left side. Remove that screw and a smaller cover will come off. Then remove the srew that behind the small cover and then you can pull the lamp assembly out.

Sounds like an internal power issue. Usually a red blinking light is a fatal error, such as bulb or capacitor.

Red light flashing, tv wont turn on


need the model number of the panasonic and also how many times it is blinking. The blinking is an error code.

First thing is to check the lamp it is located either in the back of the set or the front there is a panel that u will have to remove to access the lamp.

When turned on, the power light changes to green for a few sec. then starts blinking. After a while (30-60 sec.), power light changes into red and blinks...


Sorry, but you need to have a service tech fix it. Do not try yourself or you will be getting a new TV.
I know you don't want this, but..........

When was the last time you have replaced the lamp? That is the first thing I would check. What is the sequence of the red light? What does it blink?
