Calling Ematic,was told tech support would call me back. Never happened. Called again was told I would get an Email,explaining how to reset it. The link that was sent too me to me was a Web page that did not exist. I called a third time,and again I was told I would receive an email. Again it never happened
You have not indicated which specific tablet you have or what operating condition it is in. Does it boot up at all? Can you get to the home page or settings menu? If so, you may be able to get to a reset option though the Settings menu. If not, many times you can do a Hard Factory Reset that will clear it up at least for a while but the specific instructions depend on what model tablet it is and what version of Android. Generally, you start with it powered completely off and then start it up holding special buttons, for example, Volume Up and Power at the same time (but some tablets have a reset button you may have to use instead - depends on tablet). This usually brings you to a recovery menu where there are various options, again, depending on the specifics of the tablet. You can then choose an option such as full factory reset, resetting programs and data, which would be the most comprehensive (and most destructive) variety of reset. There may be less destructive options available that would, for example, leave downloaded apps intact, or user data such as downloaded files, passwords, etc. I usually opt for the full factory reset, which, if it works, would put the tablet just the way it came out of the box. If it doesn't work, you could end up with a completely dead (aka "bricked") tablet that won't do anything, so these resets should not be taken lightly, only use in case of emergency. Try Googling for your exact model tablet + Android version + Factory Reset or Hard Reset. Note: I'm even assuming it is an Android tablet. Here is a procedure I found online that may or may not apply to your tablet:

WARNING: THIS WILL RESTORE TABLET TO ORIGINAL FACTORY SETTINGS AND WIPE ALL DATA!!!
1. Turn off and charge the tablet for 30 mins
2. After 30 mins disconnect the tablet from the charger
3. Press and hold the volume down button (-), continue holding.
4. Next press the power button and count 1 to 15, until the tablet powers on. Once you see the Ematic logo release the power button, keep holding the volume down button (-) until it brings you to the recovery mode screen.
5. Now use the volume down (-) and volume up (+) buttons to navigate through the recovery mode screen, use power button to select and option.
