Depends on if you are using an IP camera or Analog camera. Do you have a DVR or NVR? Is it plugged into your router and have you opened the associated ports?

Can this camera be viewed with an ap or over network or only with lorex monitor

I have used this brand to watch over my place while I'm at work and yes you can view over a network through a Lorex App. I know its over a VPN through Lorex website. Excellent choice here :)

I have the Lorex Surveillance System, model #L204161. When I have the Lorex client view on my screen, camera #1 is only show in 1/4 of the 1/4 section of the view.

What do you want to show? Do you have more than one camera?

Select the view mode, usually an icon with screen block divisions. Select the one square.

Why won't our Lorex Care and Share monitor work with the camera?

Make sure you have the proper power adapter plugged into the camera. It should be a 5V~1A power adapter.

Lorex troubleshooting

The most common reason for loss of camera remote video is an intermittent cable connection between camera and DVR. Try monitoring with a VGA monitor, or TV with analog VGA input also to see if that is the case. Gently move the cables around that run from the cameras to the DVR while observing the multiple cameras showing on the monitor. Some remote viewing software has trouble restoring camera assignments after brief loss of camera signal.

I can't seem to remotely connect and view my lorex cameras. What am i doing wrong...it was working fine till I got Verizon FIOS

You may need to reopen the ports necessary for the Lorex to be available for remote viewing. You should be able to look at the function on the Lorex menu to get the port numbers, then call Verizon to have them forward the ports. Without port forwarding, your video stream is being blocked at the Verizon FIOS Modem.
