I got a no signal I checked the wires, it's still there. How do I get in to work?

My T.V. won't work?

Have you checked the cutout on the starter switch? This start switch sticks occasionally and you have to joggle it a few times to make it work.-----

You front head light gets it power from the starter switch assembly so that it can kill the head light while the engine is trying to start.----------

3 things to check.
The Bulb.
The Turn/signal/dimmer/horn switch .
the start switch.
And of course the wiring.
These are all thats involved in the headlight circuit.------------

The starter switches on Honda brands in particular are known to fail from owners hooking up additional accessories and wiring them into the headlight circuit so they only operate when the headlight is on. The starter button is part of the headlight circuit and passes current to the headlight when the button is not depressed. When depressed, the headlight goes out and the voltage is directed to a starter relay.

Additional loads on the headlight circuit cause excessive current through the starter button contacts which causes heat build-up that melts the plastic holding these contacts in place. Eventually the switch gets shorted.By pass the switch and check.This will help.The best option is to replace the start switch.-------

Hi. The 20 amp fuse will not make a big difference. If the fuse is in the light circuit it may have made the wiring more vulnerable to damage from short as it allows slightly more power draw than the 15 Amp and this may result in the short breaking contacts by fusing connectors or wires.

If the fuse does not blow there is a broken contact. To fix the problem you need to use a test light or a Volt meter to track down voltage finding where the broken contact is. If the fuse keeps blowing instead there is a short. In that case you need to find the problem either disconnecting one by one wires and connectors and isolating the area where the short is, or using an Ohm meter to find the short.

I understood that the fuse is not blowing anymore. In that case the trailer has caused a short that has interrupted contact to wiring in flasher circuit. Start testing voltages from the fuse box. The fuse is located before the relay in wiring. If there is no power to the fuse test the switches (check volts or Ohm them), and test wiring to power distribution center (check that connections to fuse/relay plate have volts and that grounding is OK).
If the fuse has power keep testing toward the flasher relay and lamp. Check power to the flasher relay. With flasher on two contacts of the flasher relay must have 12 Volts.

Wiring diagrams depend on the year of manufacturing of the truck. The 1977 F-150 wiring is much a different compared to the 2005 F-150.

My turn signals won't blink or work

1) Blown bulbs sometimes cause this.

2) Check the fuse & blinker relay. Some bikes have different fuses for marker & blinking, even though they're in the same lamp.

3) It could be a wiring fault; these symptoms will happen when anything stops the rear signals from working. Try hooking them up to a battery, without the switch in the circuit, and through the chassis, then fix ground issues first. Work your back on the positive side until you get to the switch. It is definitely not the switch, because the switch is switching, so it's from the switch back to the lights somewhere. It's actually not that hard to trac, if you have a wiring diagram.

1997 Ford E350 clearance lights don't work

First check the fuse, the clearance lights are not factory in most cases and the wiring gets shorted from poor wiring. Once you replace the fuse see if the lights come on, if the fuse blows right away find the wiring to the clearance lights and disconnect them, if the short goes away it is a I said the wiring is shorted. If you don't have the owner's manual you should be able to download it at the link provided. It should be fuse #10 a 20 AMP in the interior fuse box.

Brake lights 65 mustang stopped working.I wondered can the issue be in steering column

On a "one brake light bulb per side" setup,the brake switch feeds 12v to the turn/hazard switch,and the switch will apply 12v to both when no turn signal activated,the right only when the left signal is on,the left only when the right signal is on,and none when the hazards are on.With this in mind,it IS possible that the turn signal switch or wiring is the issue.If you are still running the original switch,try removing the switch and cleaning/regreasing the contacts(or look for something obviously worn or broken).If the switch is bad-hey,you got almost 50 years out of it! I'll bet you won't get that much longevity out of anything built now!

Hi Hd84softail, always check fuses and bulbs first, you could have a faulty turn signal module or a bad turn signal button/switch, remove it from the switch housing and check for continuity, check your wiring and connections from the turn signal switch to the turn signal module with a testlite. Make sure all wires are not worn or pinched and connector pins are not corroded, broken, or loose. Describe your Venue SUB10 Subwoofer Problem: The subwoofer won't turn on at all. The red light doesn't even come on. Could it be the fuse in the subwoofer? If so, where is the fuse located?

You can remove the screw near the volume knob and the screw near the on/off switch - then slide out the amp remove the black and white wire - then check the fuse - if its blown look for we repair amps - ebay - if its good then it probably still needs work - it should turn red when plugged in and no signal and green when signal is present - which means amp is on.

Hello. My 1997 Chevy Tahoe refuses to start. The problems began with a bad fuel pump. I changed. It worked. The fuel pump died again. I changed it again and it has been working. I parked it for two weeks....

Now you have a good battery & a starter that turns over the motor

Have you cycled the key on & off with a fuel pressure gauge on the
fuel rail?

Do you have a fuel filter that isn't over 3 or 4 years old?

Have you checked for spark while cranking ? Use an old plug on the wires,
if you have ignition wires,don't ground the wire without resistance

If you removed the ducting & MAF Sensor it won't start

Tell us what you checked & exactly how that was done.

Hi, Imcook2 before diagnosing any turn signal/running light/parking light issue make sure the bulb is good and the light fuse has continuity with a test light. If you have replaced you OEM lights with LED lights you are going to need a load equalizer. If no turn work the cause could be a faulty turn signal module or the connector going to it, look for corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets. Contact spray cleaner is great for removing corrosion. If your speedometer does not function properly it will have to be fixed first because your turn signal module gets the data from the speedometer for normal turn signal function. If your front turn signals don't work use a test light to check for power and ground at the bulb socket, then start backtracking the wiring through every wire connector to the turn signal switch/button and check for continuity, go all the way back to the fuse if necessary to find the cause of the malfunction. If your rear turn signals don't work check your rear fender wiring harness connector first for corroded, broken, loose pins/sockets, power, and a good ground, (the harness connector is usually located under the seat on the front of the rear fender) then keep tracing the wiring look for obvious harness damage caused by the rear tire. If you still can't find the malfunction backtrack from the rear fender wiring harness connector. If one side does not work you could have a faulty turn signal switch or module check for continuity.
