Question about Envision Televison & Video
For a while if I let the tv run for 20min Or longer longer and the turned it off and back on the sound would come on. When that no longer worked I unplugged everything for a while, then turned it back on, let sit for 30 min, turned off and on. That worked for a while. Now nothing works.
The problem was the e prom on the main board
and has now migrated to the rest of the board.

Almost certainly, this is a failing power supply. Not uncommon and usually it is because of 'blown' capacitors. Google using your model number and 'power supply fault L37W698' and you'll find your ansdwer there - along with options to repair it if you know someone who can resolder capacitors.

Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience.

My 32D40U would turn on for 5-10 seconds (Please Wait would appear) and the screen would go black. Sound Normal. It would also sometimes do this after running 5-10 minutes. I read somewhere that the inverter board would come loose and lose proper ground. I took the set apart, removed the board, and cleaned up the grounding points. I reassembled using some copper paste on the ground points and LockTite on the screws. I used some contact cleaner on all the connectors going to the board. I noticed two cables that are covered with copper shield tape where too tight at their connectors and repositioned the tape to give them some slack. The problem hasn't occurred since the fix.

Yes your inverter is bad, I have the same problem my set is about 1 and 1/4 years old. Because Olevia makes a terrible product there inverters are attached directly on to the panel, which means they will only sell the inverter along with the panel i.e $700+ to replace + $100 dollars labor if u don't know how to fix it ur self. I am currently searching to find the manufacture that makes the inverters because olevia will not disclose that information. I believe it is darfon, if so the inverter should cost about $150-200 depending. If you dont believe you can fix it ur self ur best bet is try and sell the set for scrap take ur $100 or so dollar and buy a quality product! Oh and dont call there support they will tell 10 different things before u find out this long for seen truth!

Thanks for using FixYa. Please check the following—
1. Is Power board output +5V?
2. Is J1 (#19 in the right diagram)connector good?
3. Is DC-DC OK, check the voltage at J1 using a multimeter.
4. Is U4 (3.3V) working ok, U4 is an IC, you’ll need an IC tester or an oscilloscope to check this IC.
After checking this if it still doesn’t work then check P3 D-sub Input (on the D-board). See this schematic for details--
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

If the power supply works and there is voltage to the processor , the set must trigger. if not check the mains board for dry solderings, burnt drivers /capacitors.
