Question about Samsung Cell Phones
Just found an old Samsung L760 while cleaning up and its got a password protection on all the messages, media, etc. I dont want to factory reset it in case there are any old photos that I could keep. Is there any way around this? Or can I get the media off the phone without losing it and then factory reset it?
Try connecting phone to a computer with usb charger and backing up everything to the computer

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

All you need to do is contact the service provider and ask them for the unlock code. They will ask you for the IMEI code (usually under the battery) and the serial number to verify that you have the phone. They will usually email the information to you in a couple of days.

SOURCE: unlock samsung L760
Get your IMEI code, call your provider for it's location. Advise that you will be traveling out of the country and you need your phone unlocked. As long as you are a customer in good standing and your bill is up to date, you will be given an unlock code specific only to your phone NOT any other phone of the same type.
