Question about Quad Home Security
Two cameras on Quad mode. #2 camera well come in and record all the time . Wont let #1 come up. Been working fine up to now. #2 camera is inside of a building. No rain or snow can get to it. Don't know what else to say. Think you.
Its prop a mode it has on it, i would check the camera it self and see if there is a switch for motion and stay recording all the ttime.

SOURCE: dvr4-alert full screen playback
That's because this is a quad. It compresses all 4 video feeds into 1 file. When you play it back, it decompresses the video and shows you each camera. Playback through this unit is the only way to see 1 camera at a time.
To be able to copy 1 camera shot to a DVD, this is what you need to do: You need to have a TV with Video in and Video out jacks. Connect the Quad to the TV Video in jack and connect the TV Video out jack to your DVD Video in jack. Playback a single camera shot on the quad to the TV and hit record on your DVD. - The DVD will record whatever is shown on the TV.

SOURCE: SAMSUNG SSC21WEB
If it is the same year as mine you can change the settings through the ssc21web system instead of the recorder-have you tried that yet? The ssc21web system has the ability to be set to view the input from the cameras. There are many options- motion detect, quad, single, it will switch from single to quad intermittently, etc. Maybe your settings were changed on the ssc21web and not your recording devise-check that first, then go back to the ssc1280.
