Have you tried going into your settings then choose my device scroll down to Input and control click language and input there you can see if keyboard is still selected.
Before you do that have you tried taking battery out ,turn phone on without battery then reinstall battery and restart this may do it. Good luck

My baby has changed the language on my text input and i cant change it back,, how do i do it?

Xperia X10

To set the phone language:

1. From the Home screen, find and tap Settings > Language & keyboard > Select locale.
2. Select an option.

Note: The chosen phone language is also the writing language, if not selecting a specific writing language.

To set the writing language:

1. From the Home screen, find and tap Settings > Language & keyboard > Default input > Writing languages.
2. Select an option.

Useful tip:

* To change the keyboard when you're in a field that requires text or numbers, touch and hold the text bar, then tap Input Method and select an option.
* To enter special characters, such as å, just touch and hold the corresponding letter, and select an option.

My text numbers have changed to chinese i think, the letters are still the same but when i go to write a number in a message, its in some other style of writing. how do i change it back to numbers???

When you are trying to send a message...

Tap and hold for about 3 seconds on the text box
This should pop up a box for "Text Input" choose android keyboard

If this doesn't fix your issue...
Go to main screen
Press bottom "Left" button
Tap "Settings"
Scroll to Time and Language
Choose your correct setting for keyboard.
I'm guessing it is set on Japanese/Chinese and you need to set it to English

Hope this helps :)

Cant reply to texts

I have a WM6.1 device, which has threaded SMS,and I can tell you that whenever a message is selected and displayed on-screen, there is a blank bar at the bottom of the screen, which, if the cursor is elsewhere, I just have to tap over that bar and start writing there, then tap on 'Send', in order to reply to that message.
Hope that your WM version behaves like that too.
Cheers! Carlos

Blank keyboard on input panel

Input Panel requires you to write on it. I guess you will get the on-screen keyboard from the Input Panel if you click the third button at the top-right.
