Check the owners manual for the range or check the support section on the manufacturers website for a manual you can download from them. They are most often in .PDF format meaning you will need adobe reader (free) to open and read it

Yes Bruce, I'd suggest cleaning the lint out of the blower intake under the lint basket. Then remove the flex duct off the back and clean the discharge of the blower as good as possible. Even check for build up inside the flex duct and outdoor termination. What you are experiencing is the typical 'lack of airflow' causing an increase in temperature rise across the heating elements which results in the tripping of the high temp limit switch. If those areas are clean as you indicate, the problem is within the confines of the blower assembly itself and blower wheel itself.

Many times, the top has to be raised and the front removed to facilitate proper cleaning of the blower and related areas. If so MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG IT FIRST !!!!! Mark all wires that may have to be removed or write inside the white surfaces your notes about wire color and location with a majic marker.

Assuming this is the pro heat version
Most likely you have some debris blocking the system. You need to follow the hand tool cleaning instructions.
remove the hand tool and manually wash it
select the tools cleaning option
place the tube in a bowl of clean water and allow it to **** the water up - this should clean out any blockages in the pipe.

Dryer Heats - Drum Turns - Clothes Don't Dry - Dryer Seems To Over Heat

Before ripping into the dryer, with the dryer running, check the vent outside. There should be a rather strong air flow. I'll bet you have little or maybe no air flow. Check behind the dryer to make sure you don't have squished flex duct. If you have flex pipe, try running the dryer for a few minutes with the dryer pulled out into the room to stretch the vent out, and check outside airflow again. Try to eliminate all or as much of the flex stuff as you can, replacing it with aluminum dryer vent pipe. (tape joints with foil duct tape) Clean out remaining dryer vent. (there are special brushes you can buy to clean out vents, but they really only work on ridgid pipe.)
