Not enough information and unless you are willing to time and money troubleshooting, probably shouldn't just buy another power supply or other parts. Most likely throwing money away.

Sounds like it may be your power supply (the part you plug your power cord into). 20 dollars on newegg

Powers on but no activity from hardware, and no warning beeps


yes it can be a power supply prbl change the pwr sply and if it steel dosent start take out the ram-s see if it beeps if not put back the ram-s and leave it powered up for 5-10 mins and touch the chipset if its burning hot its only the main bord , if its not hot and its AMD its the main b. or the processor or both it its intel its the main bord.

Installed Crosshair MB in new case. Motherboard LED lights come on but CPU and fan do not light up or turn on. Tried dif power supplies and cases, no luck.


Make sure that the motherboard LED switch on the back panel is set to off and if want to turn it on go into bios and set it. If it is active thru switch and not thru motherboard bios it will not allow you to turn on PC cause it is in maintenance mode.

Gateway GT4010 will not start most of the time the fan just runs.


Oopen cpu cabinet and then check wehn u power give to it led on mother bord is flashing or not?
If flasshing then your motherbord get power.
Then reattch all connection to mother bord.
Pull cmos cell for 15 minutes from mother bord also change cmos cell if it has low volt or it is old.
Then also cg\heckl your smps box is working properly.

Fans work but pc wont power up


refix ram and reattch all connection to mother bord.
ASlo remove cmos cell for 15 minutes from mother bord
also check smps is working fine

PC wont power up after replacing the Power Supply and MOBo


hi swich off pc & remoove power card from smps. short Bios jumper
on mother bord.(locate that jumper, lift ,short with 3rdpin &replace it as old position.
now switchon pc.
r u connect cpu core supply voltage on mother bord ?

hi
check your cmos cell, power cable,smps,main power supply of home,
check that *********** bord dony=t touch the cabinet.
check your bord circuit hitting event.
remove all pci card clear dust from it.
reattach all cards and connection of pc.
clean your processor case.
i think your pro is solved
