Question about Washing Machines
Well ive took of the back of the machine cause originally thought it was actual pump as if something was lodged ...but it rinces and spins fine ....its the noise it makes on wash cycle i turned it right off ...my machine does not have an agetator but thats where i think the problem is what is it and how can i fix
Very hard for me to guess without knowing more.
The machine must be on a level surface.
To determine this you need a tool called a level.
The longer the level is the better it will measure flatness.
Someone local seeing it might be best.
Short of that, here's what I would do.
Determine if it's the clothes (imbalanced) causing the problem.
Do a wash with no clothes in the washer.
If the problem continues, it's not the clothes.
Good luck. Happier Thanksgiving.

You can't tight up the tub. You should replace the damper pads that located beneath main support housing on base's machine. Goog luck !

One common problem area is the clutch assembly. The clutch is built on top of the motor, the motor drives the clutch and the clutch assembly drives the rest of the washer. The clutch gets very noisy when parts inside are worn out. The shoes lining that drives the inner drum of the clutch wear off and you will get a metal on metal sound. Clutches often can be rebuilt, but sometimes they are too worn and replacing the whole clutch is the best repair. Please use this link here for clutch replace and repair info. The belt and pump may be the next items to check for noises. How to access the washer. Clutch repair help.

I would check the internal coin trap/drain to make sure it is not blocked with socks or 3-in1 dryer sheets. If the water does not drain it backs up and causes error messages and spin problems. These are normally not listed in the manual so you have to take off a panel to find it. Could be at the bottom or in the back. Unscrew and check the trap and remove any blockage. Prepare for a mess if you can't fit a bucket under the trap!
