I facing a problem with SONY DCR200 CAMCORDER. My camcorder getting turn off when I open the LCD screen. but while attached the AC power cable it is working perfectly. Today I Replaced the battery Sony NP-FH60 (attaced with camera when purchased) with new battery NP-FV70. I recharged it aprox 6 Hr(s) and takeout the AC power Cable when I found that Re-chargable light is not blinking (fully charged) and now i swich on the camara open light is blinking camera is opened while i open the lcd Camera again Turn off, Again I re-install the battery and add the Power cable and turn on and open the LCD it is working perfectly. but without power cable it is not working. Please help me to resolve
More than likely the camera has an internal problem in the power supply section. There is an electronic switching circuit that switches between the battery input and the DC input coming from the AC adapter. Your camera requires professional servicing.
