Question about Brother MFC Office Equipment & Supplies
In order to fix this
1. Turn on the machine before you start.
2. Open the front cover.
3. Press Clear or Clear/Back on the control panel.
*Note: It could be different to have the format of a control panel, but there is a button for Clear orClear/Back on the right side of the LCD screen.
4. Follow a direction according to your case.
- For the numeric keypad, Press 1 to reset the drum counter.

Normally clearing the drum count the machine has to be on open front cover as if to change the drum press and hold the button in for about 10 second then release and shut the door. This should reset the count if not please get back to me and I'll check the service manual to see if anything in that.

There is a little special (white) gear on the outer left side of the drumkit - a little bit below where the toner sits. That gear joins with toner mixing assy - and you can rotate it in counterclockwise all the way back. This should reset the drum counter - worked for me - I hope it also does the trick for you ;-)

When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you need to reset the drum counter by completing the following steps:
"Reset Parts Life".

I think this machine does not have a reset option instead you can reset manually.All you have to do is on the right side of drum unit there exist a white + type notch,rotate it clockwise till it allows.Put back drum unit into machine.Switch on and see replace drum and supplies message will disappear.In my case it worked.Hope this is the best solution.All the best
