Question about Nextbook Next6 Android Tablet

1 Answer

How do uninstall a driver on a Android Tablet? And when I connect to the wifi it still says there is no internet connection.

I tried manually connecting to a network with the same password. And nothing has worked. I think the Tablet is just a piece of junk. What else do you suggest?

Some versions of Android had a problem with releasing IP when the router changed due to a different network. Try deleting ALL network connections, then go to a NEW wifi network and allow the tablet to FIND the new network and connect. Then go back and try to connect to your original network.

How can I get my tablet to connect to my modem?

Have you tried having your tablet unlocked to home screen then connect to modem. Your tablet should be unlocked in settings for USB connections. If nothing works, back up your tablet to email, factory reset and try again like new, when done restore your tablet. Good luck

My DOPO GS-918 9" tablet wont connect to internet. All our phones will. i pressed reset button still nothing.

You need to go to the network settings let it find the network you are trying to connect to ...then look for the arrow right of the network to forget will clear any stored passwords for that router.rescan networks again then it should ask you for the input password and you should be good to go.

My daughter's RCA tablet will not turn on. what can i do?

Two possibilities:
1.- Be sure the battery is charged. There has to be some indication that the tablet is being charged.
If you can turn on the table when plugged in to the charger, and it dies soon after unplugging it, the tablet's battery may need replacement.
2.- The other possibility is that the tablet is dead...

Network Connections

I'll give you a generalized answer because I am not familiar with the tablet you are using. The the principle is the same for all wireless devices. Go to their version of SETUP for wireless networks (for example, on the IPAD it looks like a gear symbol) and select the right network which will be chosen from a list they provide of nearby networks. You need to know the name of the network you're trying to get on. Don't try to type it. Select it from the list of available networks. When you do, it will most probably ask for the network password or key which you need. If you don't know it, then you need to find it. Sometimes it is on the base of the modem. Type it in carefully noting the caps and don't mix up zeroes and letter O, etc. It sounds like a password problem you are having so do this carefully. If it does not work, and If you use the network for your phone also, you can try logging the phone off the network and then logging back on with the password you think is right to confirm if it is a password problem but... if the password you are trying is wrong, you will now not be able to get your phone back on the network until you find the right password. Then you will also know how to fix the tablet log on as well. Hope that helps.

Will not connect to wifi

  • Touch the Apps Menu button on the Home screen.
  • Open the Settings app.
  • Choose Wireless & Networks.
  • Choose Wi-Fi Settings.
  • Ensure that Wi-Fi is on.
When you see a green check mark next to the Wi-Fi option, Wi-Fi is on.
  • Choose a wireless network from the list.
Available Wi-Fi networks appear at the bottom of the screen. When no wireless networks are listed, you're sort of out of luck regarding wireless access from your current location.
    Optionally, type the network password.
Touch the Password text box to see the onscreen keyboard.
Touch the Show Password check box so that you can see what you're typing; some of those network passwords can be long.
    Touch the Connect button.
You should be immediately connected to the network. If not, try the password again.

You will need to rest your tablet. Google search make, model and reset. The manual will have instructions on how to accomplish this.
