When I give the engine No, all things come back negative but engine is a Tecumesh H35-45430M Ser., 7320B

I want to buy the Carb for my Tecumesh Motor , ModelH35-45430M Ser, 7320B but it seems as if it does not exist but I do.

If you go to a small equipment dealer & give them
the info, you will have your answer & be at the bagel
shop, in a matter of 10 minutes

Your approach is wrong

Go where the info is

There will be a replacement or used carb
if you go to a lawn mower shop, etc

Why not just clean yours & look for a repair kit?

did you try ebay , the thing is they may have stopped making that model and changed the model numbers , try ebay and see if one of the guys on there can either get it or cross referance the numbers

Stalls press throttle


1st question, is that both hot and cold engine.?
2nd/ does the engine get hot? reach 180F temps. and hold.?

i feel your pain, carbs are fussy things..
for sure if the engine is health and the distributor is timed
right and advances by the book , does it?
then its a bum carb.

the problem with is fixing a 27 year old car is probematic.
back when, we can just buy a rebuilt.
or buy a kit.
we'd clean the carb , then kit it and then retune it.
now the symptoms of a bad carb,
1: it's lean.
2: what causes. lean
a: float level too low. RTM read the manual look up level spec.
b: air leaks. any where in the intake tract.
c: clogged gummed up jets, for sure in any 27 yo carb.
d: clogged nozzels
e: air jet fell out and not is tool lean, (emulsion jets)

above is for a hot motor.
if motor actually gets hot.
if the car stalls cold.?
then the choke is bad.

1988 mustang 2.3 has spark,fuel will not start


What you should check is firing order, any motor that has spark and petrol must at least back fire, when try to start, if it is still not doing that I would do a compression test to make sure compression is ok, then check the carb to make sure there is fuel in it and that the flot level in carb is correct check clean the carb all the jets and places where petrol flows through the carb, once you have completely clean and checked the carb then you know it's not the carb then you go to the next thing. Spark, is the bogie cables work properly replace them if it is shorting out against the body of the engine, replace the condenser that is on the side of the rotor cap those things are known to give trouble, they work sometimes and then it stops working, anyway good luck hope this is of use to you.

How to replace starter on a nissan 200sx ser engine 2.0


Locate the starter, near to the firewall. Remove battery leads. Follow the negative battery lead down to the starter. Undo the other minor wiring and the 3 retaining bolts from the side of the engine block. Carefully prise the starter out, watch you don't grind the teeth of the flywheel/start motor teeth.

Refit new one/reconditoned one and make sure the wiring goes back to normal. Connect battery, start her up!

sounds like you unseated your needle valve. pull the bowl off the carb and ensure that the float is contacting the valve and shutting off the fuel when you push lightly up on it.

How to change a starter motor on a 1989 Toyota Corolla


Hi you did not say what engine or model but based on a 1.3 12v remove disconnect the battery black (negative terminal) then the air filter housing on top with a wing nut.
then you have the carb underneeth it you can remove this to make access easier label all of the vacum hoses etc. and remove the carb by removing four bolts at all four corners at the base of the carberetor.
the starter is at the back of the engine underneeth the manifold undo the solenoid (one bolt with a wire connected) undo the bolts for the starter sorry cant remember how many. you may need to give it some gentle persuasion with a copper hammer. remove and replace.

Usually that is a sign of the carb not being adjusted right. Run it at full throttle and adjust the main mixture needle (usually on the bottom) until it runs the smoothest. Set it in the middle of the range where it runs smooth. Then set it down to idle and adjust the idle mixture until it runs smooth at idle. Accelerate it rapidly and if it bogs or hesitates turn the idle mixture a little leaner (clockwise) and try again until it works right. That should get you very close. Try tweaking it a bit from there. as the microscopic specks clean out of it, it may need more adjusting.

If your genset is back firing then it could be carberator, bad ingnition coil, fuel pump, poor compression, which should be at least 100 psi.

Buy a can of carb spray and clean the idle air bypass valve and the throttle valve, the stall is caused by sludge build up, you will have to have someone hold the idle high while you spray into the intake or it will stall, use about 1/2 the can, then shut engine off, disconnect the negative battery cable and wait 5 minutes, reconnect and drive a few days to have computer relearn idle curve, thati should solve your idle concern.
