Question about AEG Cooktops
I have an AEG ceramic hob, the largest ring is running up to full power by itself as soon as the power is switched on. I have tried resetting by switching off at the mains for 5mins and by holding the power button for 10secs, but the problem remains the same. Other rings seems to work fine and child lock will turn off the runaway ring. It's not practical to cook on the other rings with enlarge one up at full power, can anyone advise on a possible reason or (hopefully) fix for this?

Check the power supply to make sure it is getting 220V, the lights etc might still work if only getting 120V but burner won't without full power supply.

Tips for a great answer:
Dec 22, 2015 | Kuppersbusch Glass ceramic induction hob...
Nov 28, 2012 | AEG Cooktops
Switching off the child safety device
• Start the hob with ( ' ). Do not set the heat settings . Touch for (Up arrow) 4 seconds. The
symbol ( 0 ) comes on.
• Stop the hob with ( I )
The symbols I typed above are not 100% as they appear in the manual.
