Question about Onkyo DX-C390 6-Disc CD Changer
Sometimes the unit will read and play the disc. I can hear the laser assembly as it focuses on the disc. When the unit fails to scan and play the disc, I hear 3 little clicking sounds (which I assume is the laser attempting to focus on the disc, but can't) and then it rotates the carousel to check for the next disc. On the rare occasion that it scans the disc, it plays it just fine for the most part. Every now and then it will skip a little.
Could be dirty laser lens, dying laser, faulty component,
Due to the complexity of multi-disk changers, it may be best to have the device looked at.
You can try running a cleaning disk through it first, but from your post, it sounds like this unit may have multiple problems and need tested by a physical person.

SOURCE: Problem with my Onkyo DX-C380
have u taken the top off and checked to see if the drive belts are in good condition and not loose? that can cause this loading error as well as a hard fault in a component.
