1. Release the fuel pressure . 2. Remove the rear seat ,rear door scuff plate ,step plate ,rear seat lock cover ,rear carpet and cover plate on floor panel for access to electrical connection for fuel pump . Disconnect electrical connector from top of fuel pump .
Two fuel pumps are in the fuel tank. The tanks dipps down on both sides of the drive shaft. the drive shapt has to be removed to get the tank out and it's best to remove all the gas from the tank before removeing the tank .. this work is very dangerouse and is best left to a professional madechaanic.
Try to replace the fuel filter and then check the spark plugs. Mke sure to clean the spark plugs and after you clean the spark plugs and still the same it wont start replace the spark plugs and check the distributor as well.

Look at the "rear" of the engine where it joins the transmission. Follow the positive cable from the battery to it. Cog with the 'teeth' you see engages the flywheel to start the motor.
