Google the manufacturer and get a toll free service help number and call them with the oven model number etc and they should be able to explain all to you. THEN please post another comment with the solution so others may also know what to do.

SOURCE: How do you get a Jenn air oven out of the wall???

The JennAir website should have the installation manual for download. Go there, type on your model number, and it should come up.

Sometimes these ovens just get "stuck" in place, and take some easy levering to break free, or to help you find other fasteners.

SOURCE: I have a wall oven, a St George single oven. The

Depending on model-
Put the door at an opening of about 100mm. You should feel an indent for thecorect position.
You will probably need 2 people, 1 each side,
Slide the door upward at an angle same as hinge, It will slide off the hinge.

If the hinge is broken, and they usually break inside the wall of the oven, it will be very difficult to slide it off the broken hinge.
Hinges are available from EDIS SPARES 1800 125 039

How does one replace the oven temp sensor?

Pretty easy, usually located at rear top of oven, one screw holds bracket, so remove, then you will see wire, pull it out to access connector, replace with new one, plug back in and replace bracket. My GE was easy fix and sensors are low cost.

HOW TO REMOVE FAN FORCED ELEMENT

All I needed was a phillips screw driver, a small hex socket drive and an 8mm wrench.

1. Turn off the mains at the switch board. There might be a switch near the oven or stove too, turn that off as well. Check that the power is off!
2. Remove the screws holding the oven to the cupboards. Mine was held in by 4 timber screws on the edge.
3. Slide the oven out of the wall. I used a small table to support it.
4. Remove the hex drive screws that hold the top lid on.
5. Using a trusted multimeter CHECK THAT POWER IS OFF! There are now exposed power terminals.
6. Undo the supply power terminals and remove the cable. I taped mine up.
7. Remove the back cover - more hex screws.
8. Pull the spade terminals off the heater element.
8. Inside the oven remove the shelves and side racks. They pop off the wall.
9. Pull the rear fan shield towards you. It should pop out at the top and then lift off 2 small tabs.
10. Remove the phillips screw at the bottom of the heater element.
11. Remove the 2 spring clips.
12. The element can now slide down and towards you.
13. Replace the element and put it all back together in reverse order.

Are the oven ellement retaining screws secured

If there is no slot for a screwdriver or cross point screwdriver, then, yes, it will be secured from the outside of the oven.
It will mean removing the rear panel, and possibly the top as well.
Hope this helps.

Please tell me where the temperature sensor on a ge range is located

Open the oven door and look in the back wall of the oven near the top. Most GE temp sensors are on the right. Some models are on the left.It is metal about 3 inches long and smaller in diameter than a pencil.
To chamge it out, unplug the oven,re,ove the retaining screw and pull it out of the oven. Pull carefully until the wire connector is exposed. Unplug the connector to completely remove the sensor.

Whirlpool Double Oven RBD305PDB7 - Upper Oven Won't Heat

I have the single oven of this style and I had to replace the thermocouple (part number 4450934) on the back of the oven three times (used the cleaning cycle three times). After using the cleaning cycle, the oven would not heat so each time I had to pull the oven out from the wall to access the back so I could change the part. Once a new part was put on the back of the oven, it worked fine. To pull the oven out, open the oven door and look down by the doors hinges. On each side you will see a screw that's holding the side molding on. Remove the screws and then the molding. That will give you access to the screws that hold the oven into the framing around the oven. Remove the screws and then you can pull the oven out to access the back to change the thermocouple. The oven is heavy so you may want some help to get out. It is not a one man job, maybe a one man and wife job. It is heavy. I hope this helps. Better late than never.
