If this is mouse is wireless, you need to replace both Mouse and Reciever. Wireless mice only work with the Rx that comes with it.

Look at this.

For changing the batteries of logitech wireless.I guess a video tutorial will help you out rather than written instructions. Watch it to lean how to replace battery of the logitech cordless mouse ( Logitech MX 1000 Model). If you are having a different model please specify the details of your model.

How do i replace a battery in a wireless mouse?

Hi,

I do have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard as well its model is EX100. If this is the first time you are replacing the batteries then here are the steps:
  1. Slide the top cover of the mouse downwards.
  2. You need to press it down slightly to unlock the cover.
  3. Replace the batteries
  4. Put the cover back in
  5. If the mouse does not respond after replacing the old batteries press the Connect button underneath it
Here is the link for the detailed manual for Logitech's EX100 mouse and keyboard.

However if you have a different model, click the link below and select the model you have and click on "Changing the battery on my (Logitech mouse model)"
http://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/support-downloads/downloads/mice
If this doesn't help you, I will continually check on this and if you can provide the model of your mouse, the better. Thank you for choosing FixYa! Enjoy!

My M-RBB93 logitech mouse is recognized but before I can complete the process I need to give a pairing code number for it. It tells me it's either on the mouse somewhere or in the documentation. It's an...

This is such ****. What a waste of time. Logitech sucks. Spent hours trying to research this. Logitech manuals and FAQs provide no help.

Want to pair your crappy Logitech Bluetooth mouse with your laptop/PC? Going crazy trying to find your "pairing code"?

Try this: "0000" (four zeroes)!

I cann't figure out how to install battery on my logitech optical mouse. can any one help me pls ?

There should be a small sliding cover on the bottom of the mouse, it should have a couple of small arrows indicating which way to slide the cover. You will need either AA or AAA batteries.

Do i need a disk for mouse to work

Hey bigbufford,
You may want to search for the drivers from the manufacturers site if it's offered in the paperwork. If not, I have always found drivers by just typing in the brand, model and manufacturer on a Google search.

Here's the site I have used

Without knowing model number I can't do the research for you but I suggest you check the FAQ's at Genius first (assumption being they have a website) and if no answer email their support group. A number of people have had the same problem.

Cordless Mouse Installation

If you know the manufacturer, look for their website. If it's a Logitech, you'll find the appropriate software here. Just select the model from a list shown on the website
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/&cl=us,en

If it's not a Logitech, the procedure will be similar, just google for the website.
