Question about ZTE Cell Phones

Open Question

How do you root a ZTE Zinger phone? My primary complaint is that the phone has NO option to save to SD Card.

Kingo ROOT, Looked for option under photos to save to SD Card, no such option. Tried to move items to SD Card without success using various apps etc. Have tried a few suggestions to root the phone in order to gain access to SD Card for saving data directly to it by default. No success.

I have had no luck on this front, either. I, too, am frustrated that they would make the phone NOT use the sdcard by default. What good is it if you can't even update the apps due to low space on the phone drive?

SOURCE: Lg lp500 cookie mobile wont store automaticaly into memory card

Hi, with the Cookie you have to set your camera and video settings to external memory seperately, even though you have already made external memory your primary storage....its weird! I don't have the phone with me right now to check but open up the camera by clicking the button and while the icons are on the screen tap the one that looks like a cog, this takes you to the settings page for the camera, under one of the tabs here you will see two memory type options. Tap the 'external memory' option and away you go! You need to do the same with the video settings.

How do i fix low internal memory on my zte z768g midnight?

1. take phone out, set on the ground
2. get toilet paper
3. take dump on z768g
4. you're phone is now 2x better then before and more then likely worth more :)
my phone is: z768g so I feel where you're coming from, it seems more then impossible to get my internal and external sd cards swapped with one another, but to help with low internal memory you can download "kingo root" onto your pc or mac computer. Enable usb debugging mode on your phone then hook it to your computer. Open the program up, click root phone an follow the instructions. after that go download "link2sd" from google play store an move all those pesky internal apps to your sd card that wouldn't move b4 ;)
