I'm traveling to India where electricity is 240. Do I need to buy a power converter for my Asus laptop?

most laptop power supplies support full range power input. meaning it will accept any normal outlet voltages used anywhere. if you look at the power supply of your laptop it should say vin (voltage in) 100v to 240v 50/60 hz, or close to that if it is.

Hello what kind of voltage use the power adapater?

The power adaptor has normally two voltages.
One is primary (Input) which is 110V AC in USA. 220V in UK and others. There are now a days Adaptors which accept both 220V and 110V. However the Adaptor pin will differ. It will be Flat pins for 110V and Round pins for 220V.

The other voltage is the Output which is fed to the Equipment and is Equipment specific. It can be 18V to 5.2 Volt DC. It varies equipment to equipment.. If a wrong Adaptor with output Voltage not matching with equipment requirement is selected, it may damage the equipment. Be careful.

Ti-5033 sv calculator, the 6 volt adaptor doesn't

Hi,
No...most of the time it is the jack in the back of the machine where the adapter plugs in that goes bad... the problem is usually not the adapter but the plug in....

Where can I find a replacement 120v ac adaptor for a Thor X flashlight?

My Thor X 10 million candlepower spotlight takes a standard 12 volt, 1500 mA, center positive AC adaptor. You should be able to find one with an appropriate tip at any Radio Shack store, but you may find a cheaper universal adaptor at a Walmart or even at a "Dollar Plus" kind of store. An adaptor with a lower mA rating will take longer to charge your light, but it should still work (down to about 750-800 mA, I'm guessing).

Double-check the charging port of your Thor light to see whether there's any information about the input voltage requirements. On mine, the light itself has the charging port labeled for 12v, though I was reading the more detailed specifications off the adaptor itself. I can't recall whether the 2.5 million candlepower light also uses 12 volts of power (I think it does), or whether it takes 6 volts (a single battery vs. two batteries wired in series).

I have a power on board veco12pob 450 amp jump starter unit and my question is what kind of adaptor do i need . I would like to know the volts and amps.

I have the same problem: today I tried a 12 volt, 1500 milliamp (1.5 amp) power cord and it has charged mine halfway, so far. It fits the plug in, but not certain, yet, that it has enough power to fully charge.

I have the driving force wheel but the adaptor is missing, what kind of adaptor do I need? How many amps and volts?

Look on the back or the botton of the wheel. It should tell you the Volts and Ampage. Then just look on ebay for a cheap adapter

Hi hope you can help i have just bought an Alpine CDA-9835R

What kind of car are you trying to put it in? There are many different cars out there that require the use of an antenna adaptor to make it fit the standard "motorola end" of the aftermarket stereo. The Alpine needs to "see" 12 volts constant power on the yellow wire and 12 volt switch (key on) on the red. Good luck
