Hi mate have you changed the Ram on your keyboard or did you setup any sample set from different keyabord?

I tried to install the pax3 set on pa1x and this issue happened. I tried to install OS and factory resources and worked fine.

Hello, I have model no ICBM-2x12BT speaker with microphone. I can't seem to get microphone to work. When I turn microphone I can hear the speaker transition to microphone but microphone does not work.

Might the driver software was not properly installed. Or the settings of your audio and mic has something to do with it. Or try to goo to device manager, look for the specific device, then try to disable and then enable it back.

Laptop speakers work for 5 minutes before making no sound

it sounds like a fault in the speakers themselves. It's most likely a physical fault as the computer seems to think that everything is working okay. do you have a different set of speakers to try and see if the same thing occurs?

I can't unmute my speakers. The sound icon is crossed out and clicking on it doesn't change it. Clicking the sound buttons on the keyboard doesn't change the icon either, it remains crossed...

It seems to me that the problem might be a driver issue. Try to restart it, if the problem remains, go to control panel, disable the driver, reboot again and return to control panel and enable the driver again. That might work.

Just to make sure desktops almost never have built in speakers.
1. Check that your speakers work. Try them with an MP3 player or other device to make sure they work.
2. Check that the speaker is plugged in the right socket. Play something on computer and switch around the plug.
3. In windows press START->Control Panel->System->Device manager.
Right click on Sound device and write down the make (Company and a model number).
4a. Google their website and go to support->downloads/drivers and download the appropriate driver.
4b. If its an INTEL sound device you might have to look up the motherboard as it might be bundled with the motherboard driver.

The the microphone on my webcam doesn't seem to be working.

Try this.
~Right click on the My Computer icon and click Properties on the list.
~On the properties tab click on Hardware.
~Under hardware click device manager.
~In device manager, look for on the list Imaging Devices and click on that. And double click on USB Video Device or it may be named something else.
~On that new page make sure on the bottom it is set to enabled. if not enable it and click apply...
~Close all of those pages and Open My computer...
~ON the bottom you should see a Camera/ Webcam Icon... and click on it, and you should be all set.
~If not Try using the webcam program if your computer cam with one.

The EZ Vinyl/Tape Converter software seems to have caused a conflict in the audio codec. I can hear the music on vinyl as it records, but now I can't hear iTunes or web sounds. All my settings for volume...

It is probably too late to help you, but others might have this problem and we solved the issue by disabling and enabling.
Click on windows button (bottom left hand corner), control panel - sound - Playback tab
You will find that there are a number of different speaker setups in that area. One set will have the light meter moving, but there won't be sound from your speakers. This is because the modern computer is much more like an amp and has the ability to have different speaker combinations and settings. You only use one speaker set-up.
- double click on a speaker option, advanced tab, and test. If there is no sound, then your speakers aren't connected to that port. Move to the next one.
- Once you find the correct speaker setup for your system, then disable the previous setup and ensure this one is enabled. Once the meter bar lights up for the right speaker combo, all sound will work as expected on your computer.

The modern computer is much like a stereo amp now, and you have to tell it which set to use. (For some reason it works well enough, until you start adding stereo components onto your system.)
