Well as long as you have full back up of your ipod in the Icloud or computer, you can do full erase by going to Icloud.com .
erasing your ipod and then restoring it from the previous back up . Hope that helps

You seem desperate. Did you have a device administration enabled? This allows you to unlock your iPhone using your Apple ID. Try that instead of going nuts and putting your phone in the freezer.

How do i unlock my iphone 4 when its disabled

Does this copied and pasted advice help you?

iOS: Forgot passcode or device disabled If you set up a passcode on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and you or someone else then enters the wrong passcode too many times, your device will disable itself temporarily. Learn what to do if you have forgotten your passcode, or if your device displays a message saying it's disabled. If you enter the wrong passcode six times in a row, you'll be locked out and you'll see this message:
  • iPhone is disabled
  • iPad is disabled
  • iPod touch is disabled

If you can't remember your passcode, you'll need to erase your device using iTunes, Find My iPhone, or recovery mode. Then use a backup to put your data and settings back on your device. Here's how. Use iTunes If you have synced your device with iTunes, you can restore your device.
  1. Connect the device to the computer you normally sync with.
  2. Open iTunes. If iTunes asks you to enter the passcode, try another computer that you've synced with. Or try the steps below to use recovery mode.
  3. iTunes will automatically sync your device and create a backup. If it doesn't, sync the device with iTunes.
  4. After the sync is complete, restore your device.
    ht1212_02-itunes_11-device_summary_tab-002-en.png
  5. When iOS Setup Assistant asks to set up your device, choose "Restore from iTunes backup."
  6. Select your device in iTunes and choose the most recent backup.
Use Find My iPhone If you enabled Find My iPhone, you can use it to erase your device.
  1. Go to icloud.com/#find to see if you enabled Find My iPhone.
  2. Click All Devices at the top of your browser window.
  3. Select your device and click "Erase [device]" to erase your device and its passcode.
  4. Use the Setup Assistant on your device to restore the most recent backup of your device.
Use restore your device as new or from a backup.
  1. Disconnect all cables from your device.
  2. Turn off your device.
  3. Press and hold the Home button. While holding the Home button, connect your device to iTunes. If your device doesn't turn on automatically, turn it on.
  4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
  5. iTunes will alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode.
  6. Click OK, then restore the device.

How to unlock an ipod

Apple's iPod touch, a portable music player with a touchscreen display, is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that provides up to 40 hours of audio playback and up to seven hours of video playback when fully charged. To conserve power, the iPod touch locks by default after a minute of not being used. If you want to use your iPod touch after it locks, you will need to unlock it. You might need to type a password, depending on how you've configured the device.

Press the "Home" button, located below the screen, or press the silver "Sleep/Wake" switch located at the top of the device. Swipe a finger across the "Slide to Unlock" slider on the screen. The iPod touch unlocks. Press the "Home" button or press the "Sleep/Wake" switch when you have enabled passcode protection on your iPod, then swipe a finger across the "Slide to Unlock" slider on the screen. The "Enter a Passcode" message appears. Type in your passcode, and then tap "OK." The iPod touch unlocks. Forgot Your Password b> Connect the iPod Touch to your computer using the USB cable. Wait for iTunes to open and sync with your computer. Eject your iPod Touch from the computer by clicking the "Eject" icon beside the iPod's entry in the "Devices" section of iTunes. Disconnect your iPod Touch from the USB cable. Your iPod Touch will be turned on and will be unlocked. Tap the "General" menu on the iPod Touch. Tap "Passcode Lock," and then tap either "Turn Passcode Off" or "Change Passcode." If you tap "Change Passcode," you can then enter a new passcode.

Ipod touch model a1288 is disable forgot passcode and wont let me connect to itunes messages says enter passcode to connect

The most logical option would be...
- Connect your device to iTunes (The same computer it is set to sync with)
- Hold the power and home buttons
- After the device shuts down, release the power button
- Your device should then be in recovery mode, at which point you may release the home button upon seeing a message on iTunes that basically says it has detected an iPod in recovery mode.

My ipod touch is locked and i forgot the passcode

You can reset it using iTunes. Open iTunes, plug the iPod in using USB, then turn of the iPod, once it's off hold down the home and lock buttons for 10 seconds, then release the lock button while continuing to hold the home button. After a few seconds iTunes should detect the iPod and let you restore it without the code.

A few weeks ago I tried locking my iPod during school. I put the passcode on so when i pushed the top button it would lock. It never locked so i forgot about it. Now I shut the iPod completely off and I...

Connect your ipod touch to your computer and make sure itunes is open. Hold down the power and home button for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds only release the power button and keep holding the home button until your itunes says it found an ipod in recovery mode. Then restore your ipod by clicking restore on itunes, or restore to a backup you might have made, but make sure it is before you had the passcode, otherwise it will reload the passcode lock.

Hope this helps!

When you count to 10 release the top sleep/wake button and continue holding the home button for 10 seconds. after about 6-10 seconds an itunes error message should pop up saying there is an ipod in DFU mode would you like to restore it. Thats the only way i could think about it.

Noo fol the problem is the ipod is passcode locked and you can enter a password bc t says connect to itunes and wont let you use the ipod at all can someone help please??? i have the same problem!!

Hello there,

If you can no longer use the ipod because it is locked due to the passcode, then the only thing you can do is to do a restore. Open your itunes in your computer then connect the sync cable on the usb port that came with your ipod (do not plug in the other end of the cable to the ipod yet). Now, press and hold down the Home button on the ipod for like 3 seconds, do not let go, then plugin the other end of the usb cable. Your itunes should detect the ipod and would ask you to do a restore. Just follow thru the wizard/instructions and you should be able to do a restore. Please be informed, though, that this will delete all saved data on your ipod.

Thank you for using FixYa.
