Thiswire is used for vehicle to power up vehicles that have a power antenna. It can also be used to power up an amplifier at the remote power terminal on an amplifier.

Stop by a sound shop for auto's or most parts stores and they should have an adapter that plugs in to convert one to other automatically and not have to guess or play with existing wiring.

The blue pwr ant wire on most Kenwoods is non-functional even though it is present in the harness and on the wiring diagram. Use the blue/white rem pwr wire.

I. Have a 04 Dodge Stratus coupe sxt. Scanned for codes and it said I had a cylinder 2 misfire so I changed spark plugs and coil packs. When I tried to start my car I had no fire to spark plugs .I checked...

Maybe you didn't get the queen ant...lol. No really, ants in your fuse block? Gee, if any ants got near hot electrical parts of the running engine, you'd have a flying frying ant machine !
I think that's what you got to do, Tracy. That is, check for fried ants everywhere else. They killed your main relay. You need to clean out the whole relay block maybe.

Kenwood kdc-248u. Installing into a 01 mitsubishi galant. Using a wiring harness adapter to plug into the factory harness. The wires on the radio pig tail have a label of P.CONT, ANT CONT, and MUTE. Not...

From the installation instructions: Ant Cont - Motor antenna control wire (Not used) P. Cont - Power control wire - To the power control terminal when using the optional power amplifier or to the antenna control terminal in the vehicle. Mute - Mute control wire - To the terminal that is grounded when either the telephone rings or during conversation (this would be to the telephone that is purchased separately.

My Cd and iPod doesn't have sound

Alright I fixed it. My stock Jeep stereo had a speaker amp that was wired in with the power ANT, the kenwood would turn the power ANT off when using other medias. So I had to hook up the BLUE power ANT wire up to the RED IGN wire so that when the car was on both the ANT and AMP would be on when the car was on. There are other ways of hooking this up I could have hooked the ANT wire up to the AMP wire coming out of the Kenwood so that the AMP and ANT would've only been on when the radio was on, but I'm happy with the way this turned out.

EWF TV ANT IN BOKEN

ANGLS186-YES YOU CAN RESOLDER THE ANT. IN COAX CONECTION BUT KNOW YOU MUST FIRST SOLDER THE CENTER WIRE OF COAX TO TUNER BD. THEN CAREFULLY INSERT COAX BACK INTO ORIGINAL POSITION.THE EASIER SOLUTION IS TO USE A VCR OR CABLE BOX HOOKED TO YOUR SETS' VIDEO IN PORT AND CHANGE CANNELS W.THAT COMPONENT.JOE TV
