I have a savage 110 270 win.i put a nikon buckmasters2 4x12x40 on it im trying to sight in at 50 yards i looked it up it says to sight in at 50 yards it says -0.14 i do not know what that means

The only way to sight in is to bore sight or use a bore sight laser
then put rounds down range at the target to get the point of aim and point of impact to converge

I have a BSA Meteor air rifle that I believe is missing the rear sight. It has the front one at the end of the barrel and another just at the breaking point of the barrel, but I do not think this is the...

There are two sights on your BSA Meteor air rifle. One at the end of the barrel and one at the end of the stock. They should be set correctly when the gun was first made. You may want to buy a laser sight and see where the sights line up to then carefully bend the rear sight to line up correctly.

I have a Bushnell Bore Sight with multiple adapters for various calibers, I have been looking for a bore sight for the 17 HMR, is there one available for the set without buying the entire set?

You can buy a laser bore sight that looks like a bullet that shoots a laser out. You just load it like a bullet and then sightyour scope to match it at the proper yardage. If you can remove the action(like with a bolt action) then you could just sight down the barrel(with the rifle in a gun vise) and then adjust your scope to point at the same thing you see through the barrel.

When I turn the turrets they go in the reverse direction, WHY

To raise the point of impact, turn the elevation screw counterclockwise. To shift left, turn windage screw clockwise. If you raise the horizontal cross hair you will lower the point of impact of the bullet. If you move the vertical cross hair to the right the shot placement will go to the left. Thats just the way it works. Point your right index finger at a spot on the wall, and sight down your finger like looking at sights, then take your left index finger and pretend it is a horizontal cross hair above your shooting finger, then raise your left finger a set amount above the right, then move your hands back to the shooting position not changing the distance in between, using your left finger now as the sight. You will see your shooting finger is now pointing lower than before. This is now the new point of impact, lower not higher. Hope this is clear as mud and helps Fix Ya up.

How do i sight this scope in, say for 100 yds what are all the sighting knobs for...?

You sight it in by firing at a target. Place the target at 100 yds distance if that is where you want it set for. Then you use the knobs to adjust the aiming point so the bullets strike where you place the crosshairs. This can involve a lot of shooting, and it is best to use a bench so you don't get confused by inaccurate handheld shots. Once sighted in, there may be other knobs to adjust for different distances or windage. These should be set to a central or neutral position while doing the initial siting, or maybe set to the distance you are siting in. My sights don't have such luxuries, so I am not sure how they work.

Hiiii...

low signal strength only comes from 2 things, range, and interference. if you are close to your access point then you have something causing interference in the signal "line of sight". things such as metal, electronics wires, power cables all give off electromagnetic interference and you should try and keep as many of these things away from your "line of sight" as possible as radio waves have a harder time going through them

I have a Tasco 460 Night Vision Scope that I cannot get to group such as even in a vise it is off at 100 yards apprximatly 2 feet all over the place. Can you help?

to be honest night vishion scopes are a bit of a fad,
grouping at 100 yds? its hard at 30 yds there for shooting at people realy not small things like rats i have 4 nv scopes none realy group like a telly sight the best one is an e rushion sight that is good but hitting a bunny in the head at 30yds is very hard however try fitting a small lazer or better still 2 of them set at a range of 100yds so the two points of light are then only one point of light and your bang on at 100yds if there two colours thats even better at you wil know how far or close you are to the target by how far out the two points of light are, but i would give up on hitting the bull every time with any nv sight test it to see if its floting about first also you never sead whats it fitted to?

How to use open sights on sks rifle... is it in meters or yards,,and does the 30 on sight mean 30 yards or 300 yards....hope you can help thanks bill...

all my SKS are set up in meters. 100 meters =110 yards (not exact but close for open sights) 200M=220Y,300=330 ect. 300 meters is max std. range for 7.62x39mm for battlefield use. 100 is about max for use on deer for a reasonabley clean kill,IF YOU MAKE A GOOD HIT ! Also I dont use hollowpoint rounds on deer in this load, not good penitration if heavy bone is hit. Use pointed soft point for better results on deer. learned from exp. in using it. HP. rounds tend to explode on surface or 1 inch in.

I am trying to bore sight a rifle with a center point 4x16x40 and i run out of adjustment to get the lazer to align with the cross hairs

When bore sighting you need to adjust in small steps and "TAP" the bore or the main body of your scope to cause a golt, as when shooting your gun it will kick and cause the scope cross hairs to take their set.  Tap it with a med sized screw driver handle. Make a small adjustment and tap it, adjust and tap.

Intel 2915AB Connection problem

Intermittent disconnection issues on a radio/wireless network will generally be caused by interferance (speakers, power board fully loaded, High wattage Lamp (flourescent bulbs usually) all parked too close to the wireless router, access point or network card. or possibly due to interuption of the active signal possibly because the distance of the router and network card/access point is just on the edge of the best signal limit and disruption occurs when someone or something gets up and moves itself inbetween the two service points)I resolved my disconnection issues by purchasing a wireless Kite for the access point and router, which will intensify the radio signal and bring the access points within closer range of each other, friends of mine have resolved intermittent signal issues by making a thin tube of rolled tinfoil about 30cm long slipped over each aerial affected by the intermittent signal disconnection. Also verify the "line of sight and non line of sight" signal distance limits for your radio equipment as the signal distance will decrease depending on the age of your wireless equipment, most equipment is in the 30Ft non line of sight- 100Ft line of sight arena out of the box but you can expect to half this figure after 3 - 5 years of continued use. Basically three options Interferance, Interupption or age only distance testing will verify this accurately IE: bring the router and access point withing 1Ft of each other and start walking away still holding the access point, whilst a user monitors the radio network condition.
