I assume this is a Tritton electric shower...
If the shower still works it could be because the bulb for the indicator is blown, or is not properly seated in the lens aperture on the front cover.
Those indicator bulbs tend to be on a flying wire that is easy to mis-assemble.
It will not cause any problem with the operation of the shower, but it's a pain if the light is not on.
If it's an electric shower, you typically should have an indicator on the pull cord isolating switch in the bathroom

I had to bypass my heater core. I snaked a hose from the input pipe around the motor and tied back in at the thermostat BYPASS HOUSING. I started with a 5/8 hose piece to a 3/4 elbow back to a 5/8 hose...

Was the heater core leaking? Have you checked your thermostat? By passing a leaking core should stop a running hot problem if that was your only leak. Does your cooling fan come on? Has the car been run extremely hot?

Bypass Hose that goes from the water pump to the cylinder head on many "A" series engines. A common point of failure. Always keep a spare. 1 hose and 2 clamps included. Not for 1275's Bypass Hose that goes from the water pump to the cylinder head on many "A" series engines. A common point of failure. Always keep a spare. 1 hose and 2 clamps included. What might be the source of an antifreeze leak? It appears to be coming from the engine front up and to the left of the oil filter on my V6, '95 Camry. I find the small puddle after the car has stopped,...

yes it could be a bypass hose it could be a freeze out plug going bad it may be a bad head gasket it may be a bad water pump these are a few items to check.

My heater not working, i replaced thermostat and radiator hoses, had radiator flushed and rodded, and still no heat. What is wrong?

Too much blockage in heater hoses or heater core.
Bypass valve may be stuck on "bypass" .

1. Remove bypass "Tees", but don't discard.
Replace with straight-through hose fittings.
The core may start leaking under the water pressure since there is no bypass hose.

Once the heater starts working, put Tees back in place. You need bypass protection or the engine will overheat.

On some pressure washers there is no bypass. If this is supposed to bypass, then the pressure bypass is faulty.

Sounds like what is normally called a bypass hose. It however is normally made of rubber, like the radiator/heater hoses are made of. If it runs from the water pump to the intake manifold, then a bypass hose would be it, regardless of its composition.
