SOURCE: want to convert heater from natual gas to lpg are

Dont know if you can get orvices for that heater but almost all gas appliances can be converted for nat to lp and lp to nat, they made a spud kit which is a blank orvice that you drill out your nat gas orvice to I think a 20 drill side and install the spud in and redrill to size usally a nat-gas orvice is around 8 to 10 sizes larger then a lp.The big thing is the gas valve and if it has a built in regulator or not, some valves can be conferted to open up the regulator pressure by the spring or a block off kit and others are fixed and cant be changed, have to replace valve.most nat-gas are at 3" to7" and lp is at 10".Hope this helps you

SOURCE: Rinnai inbuilt lpg gas fireplace IB35ETR wont

You don't mention any error codes displayed. If this is the case I would start with a new main PCB. It should try and light for approx. 10 seconds and then go to lockout with an error code 11 if it was a gas supply issue. This is all controlled by the PCB hence my opinion on a PCB fault.

Need to convert Paloma gas heater from natural gas to lpg in qld.

You can't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Among other things besides having to reprogram modulation, you'd also need to re-jet it and that's not possible in the field. NG and LPG jets are not the same due to vastly different operating pressures.
Some brands can be field converted but not Paloma/Rheem/Richmond/Rudd Tankless units!

Hi, I have Osaka Gas Heater model 43-540.

A natural gas heater can only burn natural and vice versa unless there are changes such as orifice and regulator. They can easily be converted to use either fuel, but you have to know what fuel supply you have, and what the appliance is set up for. Since you've already tried LPG, if it turns out the appliance is natural gas, then replace the spud (burner nozzle) before trying to operate it again. LPG cannot pass through the small nozzle hole in a natural gas appliance.

Have a NG unit need to convert to LP gas. wath can i do.????

Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing you can safely do to convert it from Natural Gas to LPG.
Each unit is manufacutered and tested for the specific gas type. Attempting to change it, puts all the liability on you, if something should go wrong. There are some on this site that will tell you all you have to do, is change the pilot orifice. That's fine for a Vented heating appliance, but not a Vent-free Heater like yours. In your case, you'd need a new control valve assembly, pilot assembly, burner, etc. That alone is about the cost of a new LPG Vent-free Heater. Besides, DESA Interantional has been out of business for 3 or 4 years now. So, parts would be an issue.

Sell the heater to someone who has Natural Gas and use the proceeds toward a new LPG Vent-free Heater. Always remember and don't every forget, it's always safety first when it comes to gas appliances.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Model reu2402w need jets for lpg the unit at the moment is natural gas still going but need to run it on lpg

Who is the manufacturer of your heater? Unfortunately, the model number alone doesn't help much. Also, you said you need the "jets" to convert it to LPG. Did you mean you needed the burner Orifices?

Please advise. Thanks

I brought a European LG outdoor heater to the USA and want to convert it to LPG. Where can I find the parts? It seems that all the terminations need to be metal fitting and rubber hoses with hose clamps...

Very tricky, EU gas runs on a different mbar pressure to US. It's not just changing the parts but also making sure it is legal to operate and it will need to be tested to CSA standard. In EU they have a CE certificate - this means nothing in US. For info on LPG gas see gas types, might be best to just buy a new burner head that is already converted to run on US LPG pressure.

329H portable heater Can this be converted to a gas bottle fitting will it be ok what is the use age and how many watts of power to run the electronics etc

You need to convert the unit if you are changing from Natural gas to LPG. This involves getting a full conversion kit for your model and changing burner , gas pressures and electronic settings.

Power draw on high remains at 22Watts. Input is almost identical for either natural or LPG gas as you would expect but running costs depends on how much you pay for your LPG. For example in Australia we use 45kg bottles of LPG, they retails at about A$110 delivered. One of these would last about 170 hours running a 329 on high.About 2 litres of LPG per hour
