Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Change battery in OxyWatch oximeter

First off, figure out what model of oximeter you have. There seem to be about 6 different ones.

Email the manufacturer at;
support@choicemmedamerica.com

Ask them for a service manual for the model that you have. And also for explicit instructions on how to change the batter, and what type of replacement battery it uses.

How do I open battery compartment & install batteries in ChoiceMMed Oxywatch CF309 which is a Pulse Oxymeter

I have the same model. Flip unit ove so you can see bottom. Hold your thumb on the side with the arrows (but don't wrap your thumb around too much. Just enough to hold that side.) Hold the other side with your index finger. Squeeze thumb and finger together while pulling back towards you on Thumb side. Hope that helps.

How do I get the pedometer to work on this unit?

Hold the pwr button for over 2 secs. to change modes. Tap to stop on first rt. arrow. (R resets to zero)--otherwise, tap to start and note blue arrow under "reset arrow). Start walking. Often it appears not to work but be patient. It will add all steps and/or jerks. When display goes blank, hit pwr. button momentarily for total "steps." It may be two steps off your count at times, but that matters not..

How do i get out of pedometer mode?

The unit powers on in the last mode it was in when it was powered off (Oxygen Tester or Pedometer). If it is in pedometer mode, do this: Hit power button once to start. If in pedometer mode, simply keep pressing the power button and watch the tiny curser jump between the four symbols. When it lands on the "Return Arrow" hold down the power button for a few seconds until the unit returns to the Oxygen Tester mode. ~jim

I have a Ritetemp 6022 and can not get it to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit. What do the instructions mean by separate the control unit from the wall mounted terminals?

It means to remove the little blue (mine are blue) squares on the two prong things( they have numbers next to them). With the blue things on the two prong numbered things on top of the unit it turns on the function of Celsius, 24 hr clock and other things. I had this same problem but I took the blue things off and reset my unit and it went to 12 hr clock and Fahrenheit. For me the Fahrenheit was the two prong thing labeled with the number 3 next to it. That's what the instructions mean by separating the control unit (blue thing is the control unit) from the wall mounted terminal (2 prong gold things with numbers.)
