How can I access the drain pump on a whirlpool WFW94HEXW washer when there is no lower kick plate? Does the whole front panel have to be removed including the door?

I just took apart my WFW94HEXW2 to clean the pump filter. Here's how: Take off the top panel by first removing the three screws attaching it to the back of the washer. Remove the detergent dispenser by pulling it out while pressing on the indicated tab. Take off the control panel by removing the four screws holding it. Two screws are Torx-20 where the detergent dispenser was. The other two are at the top of each corner and are 1/4 inch hex-head, as are all the others in this procedure. If you're careful you need not detach the wires from the control panel. Just take the wires our of the first two clips so you have enough slack to rest the control panel on top of the washer. Pop out the spring-loaded retaining wire that's holding the door bellows to the front panel. Remove all seven screws from the front panel, three at the top and four at the bottom. Again if you are careful you need not detach the wires to the front panel. Simply lift the panel off the retaining tabs and swing it out like a door with hinges on the right. Keep slack in the wires and securely prop up the front panel. You now have access to the water pump and filter. The filter unscrews so you can clean it and its holder. Reassembly is a matter of reversing the above steps.

Duet F-02 code

F02 is long drain.
Just because it came up doesn't mean there's a problem, it simply means there was a failure during the cycle, if it returns on a regular basis, you have a problem.

F02 error could be caused by the over use of soap, you need to make sure your using 2 tablespoons of HE soap, 1/4 cap at the most.

Over sudsing, could cause the water pump to run longer, the pump is designed for 15 min duty cycle which means, 15 minutes on to 45 minutes off. The computer may sense too much soap, and continue to pump. HE soap will cure that, along with SUD error, possible F09 (overflow condition), you may also notice the timing is wrong, HE soap works well in these machines and F/l washer go hand in hand

if the F02 returns the remove the 3 torx screws from the bottom kick panel, and remove the kick panel, right there in the middle you will see a big round handle, turn it and then slide it out, have some towels ready, there will be some water in there, and check to see if you have any thing in there that will slow water flow, tooth picks and other "floating" items may jam the impeller.

A friends HE3 would not drain. F02 error message was showing. The filter had coins, pencils, a wire from a bra, and a piece of cloth that was stuck in the pump impeller vanes. Cleaned it all out put it back together and it worked.
For others that encounter the same problem: (The fix is very easy).
Unplug the washer. Remove the 3 Torx head screws (located left, center, and right) from the front bottom kick panel of the washer. The drain/filter/pump is right in front. First remove as much water from the washer as you can. Place a large towel under the pump - a lot of water will come out when you remove the filter cover cap. Remove the drain filter cover cap by turning the filter cover cap counterclockwise. Remove the filter and check the housing and pump impeller vanes for debris (see if you can move the pumps impeller by hand). Clean the cover cap gasket and the gaskets mating surface. Replace the filter and close the cover cap firmly. Run a short wash cycle and check for any leaks at the filter cover cap. Replace the kick panel if none are found. Good luck.

My ge front load washer model#wcvh6260hww keeps repeating the cycle

Hi you need to clean out the drain pump assembly, sometimes there is an access panel on the front right of the washer you just pull it down and unscrew it, if this model doesnt have that, then you need to take off the front kick panel at the bottom there is 3 screws and then you will see the pump on the right where you can unscrew a canisher looking lid this is the filter for the drain pump, there will be water left in it you will several big towels. clean thoroughly should fix your problem.

  1. Unplug the washer.
  2. Remove the 3 Torx head screws (located left, center, and right) from the front bottom kick panel of the washer.
  3. The drain/filter/pump is right in front.
  4. You can see a diagram of the pump at http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Drain-Pump/1200164.
  5. First remove as much water from the washer as you can. Place a large towel under the pump - a lot of water will come out when you remove the filter cover cap.
  6. Remove the drain filter cover cap by turning the filter cover cap counterclockwise.
  7. Remove the filter and check the housing and pump impeller vanes for debris (see if you can move the pumps impeller by hand).
  8. Clean the cover cap gasket and the gaskets mating surface.
  9. Replace the filter and close the cover cap firmly.
  10. Run a short wash cycle and check for any leaks at the filter cover cap. If the error comes back, you may need to replace your drain pump.

PRESSURE WASHER DOESNT HAVE MUCH PRESSURE, MOTOR DOESNT EVEN KICK DOWN LIKE ITS UNDER LOAD

Make sure that the tip of the head is not damaged, or missing anything.
Sometimes, there can be a pressure leak from the tip of the lance, inhibiting the pump from kicking in properly.
Hope that helps.

When i press the start button the door will lock like everythng is going to start up and then 4 or 5 seconds later it unlocks and doesnt start

sounds like it is locking fine but is stuck on system check. if there is water left in tub then check drain pump to see if it is trying the pump at all. at this point the machine is doing a quick self check and looks at water level in tub. Usually this is when it sees water left over, tries to drain it and cant. if pump runs then its clogged. if it doesnt run then its bad. but check by draining water and or going into diagnostic. more info about this is in the tech sheet located at bottom of machine behind kick panel. here you will also see the pump.
