Can two of these be plugged into an Emerson TV at once?

Most TVs don't have one headphone jack, and definitely not two. The best solution to your problem is to buy a headphone splitter. You can put the splitter into the one jack and then connect two sets of headphones to it.

Moisture absorbing ball struck in headphone port of hp laptop. How to remove it? please help me.

Tip: Try with a desoldering pump. Make a small rubber gasket of chewing gum etc. Tighten the tip against the 3,5mm Jack with the gasket in place. Maybe the vacuum sucks the ball out

Want to connect pc speakers and subwoofer to lg37lc55 tv unfortunaly it doesnt have an earphone 3.5 connection point. My other smaller tv does, the speakers and subwoofer consist of a white and red audio...

Hello,
Your TV should have an AUDIO OUTPUT other than optic..at least " Headphones" output..
You can connect TV audio output with a RCA cable.
white and red audio jack....
since SUB has both RCA and "3,5mm Headphone female Jack"..here are the options;
** you need to buy a cable one end 3,5mm MALE headphone jack and the other end 2xRCA stereo (or 1x RCA for mono or you may need "Y cable " ) to be connected to your TV...
** or 2x RCA
white and red audio jack and connect from your TV..
**" "Headphones" output to SUB with 3,5 male-to-male cable ( the least recommended)
And you need to connect front, centre and rear speakers to your SUB as well...
Take care and if it succeeds please Remember to rate/vote and give me 4 Thumbs Up
for Helping out the Community :)

Hope this helps!

Is the creative hs-400 compatible with regular mp3 players?

It should be compatible with any MP3 players.
The headset has a universal headphone jack that is compatible with most (if not all) devices.

Hello, When I connect my headset on my laptop Asus a7sv I get sound but no sound from the speakers. I have Windows Vista en I downloaded the original driver from the asus website. I tried everything....

Most headphone jacks operate as you describe. There is a switch built into the jack that diverts the audio from the speakers to the headphones for "private listening". If it didn't work this way, there would be no way that you could enjoy an audio track or other program with others having to hearing it, too.

You could get around this problem by using an external speaker set and a "splitter cable".
moz-screenshot.pngfaaa714.jpg
A splitter cable is simply a three ended cable like the one pictured above. The first end has a male plug that matches the jack on your computer - likely a stereo mini plug. The other two ends are usually the same; but the female version. You would plug the splitter into the SPEAKER jack and the laptop speakers would be silenced. Next, you would plug the the external speakers into one of the splitter jacks and then your headset would plug into the remaining splitter jack. You would connect the microphone plug into the MIC jack on the laptop.

You'll have to tinker with the sound levels as there will be feedback issues - depending on how close and loud the speakers are to the headset microphone.

Please rate this reply - and good luck!

How do you hook up an additional set of speakers to this monitor so that I have four speakers working?

You'd need to get a 3.5mm stereo audio jack splitter (aka "headphone jack splitter").
It'll look something like the pictures below.
You should be able to purchase one for a few dollars pretty much anywhere you buy electronics or audio equipment (Radio Shack, Best Buy, etc.).

Once you have that, make sure both your computer and your monitor are turned off.
-Then, unplug the audio cord (that goes from your monitor to your computer) from your computer (you can leave it plugged into the monitor).
-Plug the splitter into your computer where the cord was previously plugged in.
-Next, plug the cord into one of the open jacks on the splitter.
-Plug the audio cable for your *second* set of speakers into the other jack on the splitter.

You should be able to turn on all the devices and have audio coming from all the speakers now.

What jack is compatible to laptop using shure

You have to connect the unbalanced output (the 6.3mm jack) to the laptop's line in (or mic with setting the rec level at very low settings) 3.5mm jack. In details the wiring should be as follows:
6,3mm jack shield to 3,5mm jack shield
6,3mm jack ring to 3,5mm jack shield
6,3mm jack tip to 3,5mm jack tip and ring

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post.

Trying to connect laptop to tv

you need a s-Video splitter that has the round PS2 style connector on one end and the yellow colored plug on the other, you can find it on the internet or in an electronic supply store.
then you plug it in the PC and in the modulator.
then you set up an external monitor on the svideo out. and it should power on the modulator and have signal.
quality though is fairly low...
you need a splitter for the 3,5mm audio jack to use the TV audio.
