Thanks for the return but that's not it, tried it your way and no go, I'm sure that out of 6 batteries some of them have to be -/+ and +/-

SOURCE: my 45CL-1 AA battery polarity not marked on the holder.

I am not acquainted with the 45CL-1, but as a general rule, if the contacts for one side of a battery is a spring and the other end a solid piece of metal, the negative (-) end of the cell should contact the spring and the post (+) end of the cell should go to the solid metal contact.

SOURCE: batteries

I use Duracell 2650 mAh rechargeable AA's with my 283 all the time. You may read that 1.2v Duracells or other rechargeables will not work because of the slightly lower voltage (alkalines are 1.5v).

I believe the problem lies not with the voltage, but is due to the slightly fatter profile of the rechargeables that causes a tight fit in the Vivitar battery pack. I find that, after inserting all four (the last will go in really tight), I need to give each cell one more firm push so that it seats properly into the battery pack.

Good luck.

SOURCE: I have three, all stored for years, and now they

Flashes stored a long time often suffer from capacitor failure. The first thing to try however is leave the batteries in for a few minutes powered on to see if they will charge. If this doesn't work, then they'll need professional repair.

What kind of charger does this Kodak Dashboard CW330 take?

The original battery pack is nothing but 2 AA batteries held together with a plastic holder, you can use regular AA rechargeable batteries and save some money. I had a similar camera with the original battery pack held together with some plastic holder, I simply substituted that battery pack with 2 regular rechargeable common batteries and camera works the same.

How could i change its batteries?

  • Your radio, Midland LXT110, utilizes a NiMH rechargeable battery pack or 3AAA batteries. I have a similar set and when the battery pack runs out I just use regular AAA rechargeable batteries. They are more economical. To change the batteries in general follow these steps.
  1. Remove the back clip.
  2. Now remove the battery cover by pushing down from the top center of the battery cover and slide it off.
  3. Replace batteries observing polarity.
  4. Replace the battery cover.
  5. Replace battery clip.

Regards, Tony

My Kodak Easyshare Z1275 has short battery life. sometimes even newly charged 2600 MaH batteries cause problems. Powers up, lens extends, opens screen to set time and date then powers down. Sometimes i can...

wait, do you have Li Ion batteries or Ni MH?

I think that Kodak recommends Li Ion batteries which have a higher voltage on them.

I got some generic Li ion battery packs off of, with better specs. than Kodak, and they work fine for my Easyshare z1485 IS camera.

It cost me like $80 to get the charger and two battery packs that are Li Ion, but it's worth it.

My battery packs are rated at 2000 mAh 3.7 Volts each. It's the voltage that counts. You see, if you would split that in half, the voltage for each AA battery is 1.85V which is much higher than the 1.5V that regular Alkaline or Ni MH batteries are rated at.

I tried Alkalines, and Ni MH to no avail. But, the Li Ion batteries, did the trick for me.

Good luck on this 'repair' or battery upgrade.

Where can i get a replacement rechargeable battery thanks

You can actually use two regular dry AAA batteries to power these headphones, the only thing is that you will not be able to charge those batteries with the charging station that comes with the headphones.

I didn't take note of how the wires were connected to the RT1250 battery pack in my Belkin 900VA when I took them out to order replacements. Can anyone tell me the correct configuration? Thanks!

The two batteries are taped together with terminals and labels facing out. The jumper wire goes red(+)[battery1] to black(-)[battery2] on one side of each battery. This is a series connection making the total voltage 24v (12v+12v). Do not connect in parallel, the voltage will be too low and not charge. Do not connect the jumper to (+)&(-) of same battery, you could start a fire.

Cobra Model HH35 radio dummy batteries

Normal AA batteries are 1.5 Volts each. The battery compartment on the HH35 holds 10 Batteries. If regular batteries are used they must be configured to a 12 Volt output. Thus the Dummy (Blank) is used to Make 8 X 1.5V=12 Volts.

If you use NiMH or Nicd which are rated at 1.2 Volts 10 X 1.2 =12 Volts.
