  • If the clock is working, you know there is power to the cooker. Make sure its npt set to auto cook and set the correct day time on the clock.

I have lost all power to the ovens and clock..but the gas igniter still works

No make or model given so answer is general in nature-

Burner igniters are not normally controlled by the main electronics board that supplies signals to the clock and oven controls.
This may be caused by a blown fuse on that board, a failure of the board itself or the power supply that provides operating voltage.

My Kenmore Electric Range model 790.9661 seems to have a control board problem. Before replacing the $200 part, just wanted to make sure it was the problem. The clock works, but the oven temperature side...

From your description it sounds that the board is the problem. I found the control panel you need for a lot less than $200 though.
I found one online from a store that I have bought from many times. Part and shipping is about $153. They sell brand name stuff too and they have great service. I hope that this helped you.

My GE wall Oven Model #jctp18ba1bb is not working.the board is blankm the only thing that works is the oven light.Is there any kind of thermal fuses etc. in this oven.thge control board was replaced 8...

When you say board I assume you mean the electronic clock/timer. This timer directly affects the oven operation. Even if the internal oven fuse is blown or the thermal overload is tripped the electronic timer and oven light will always work. If the oven light works and the electronic timer/clock does not I'd say that the timer/clock is faulty.

No 7 &beeping

HI. This is the result of the Function key that is shorted or stuck.

This will require you to Replace touch pad, or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC), or main control board.

Clock = Control board
ERC = Control board.

My Kenmore 9114742592 Wall Oven does not work. The display is blank and the circuit breaker is not tripped. What can I check for?

HI, check the junction box for separated power cord wires. replace the junction point if the wires are separated and not connected to the oven properly. replace the cord as well in this case.

Now, if the power cord is ok and, the junction is connected properly, this will confirm that the control or, clock has failed. replace the clock or, oven control board in this case.

Electric surge turned off the clock,oven but the stove top works

The clock and display are leds, right. If you can remove the panel where the board is and gain access to the back of it, look for a fuse, similar to a car fuse. The elements are controlled by manual independent switches, that's why they are working. If there is no fuse, or its still good, look for a burnt wire of some sort back there, as you said a power surge went through it.
