Check and see if you have any relays that control the lights and all the other things that have stopped working. There will more than likely have something in common that has burned out and a relay burned out would cause that. Also if it has a light sentinel on it then the problem could be in that circuit. You need a good schematic and try to trace the problem. There is so many things that can cause problems in some of the wiring harnesses that they put on cars that it is just a trial and error without the exact schematic for it. I would almost bet that it is in the relays that controls the lights. I have a Blue wire with a Black stripe on it in my Ford Explorer that just has one end on it! LOL! I've been an Electronic Technician for 33 years and the only way I will work on car electronics is if it is mine. Hope this helps. I had about the same thing to happen on a 93 Cadillac and i was in the light sentinel relay in the left side of the trunk.

Testimonial: "ok, would u think maby i melted something together along the way in one of the wire harness? i hope not. i would hate to have to track that down, probably under the carpet or something. i replaced the light sentinel switch and it didnt seem to change anything, unless something was wrong with that one as well as i bought it from a junk yard but nothing looked like was wrong with the one i took out originally. what would the relay i need to check be called? i believe there's some up by the fire wall on the passenger side under the hood. would that sentinel relay also be in the same location as the cadillac u worked on? thankx for your help and advice i rely appreciate it."

How to fix my tail lights, my head lights work, brake light works and turn signals work, dash do too

Maybe a broken or lose wire. The turn signal and brake lights operate from one wire and the tail lights operate from a separate wire. It is possible that the tail light elements burned out of both bulbs. Pull the bulbs out and check them first.

Dash and tail lights not workjng brake and turn signal on passanger side not working

The dash and tail lights are on two different circuits, and the brake and turn signals are on different circuits, so at least 4 circuits total.
I would start at the headlight switch and check for power on the first two issues.

No tail lights or dash lights

If you have checked the fuses for those two circuits and they have power, the next step would be testing the headlight switch.

I have 89 bronco 2 my brake lights turn signals both work my tail lights don't work have check fuse n blubs what might be the problem

The turn signals and brake lights use the same circuit and filament in the bulbs. The tail lights are on the other circuit which comes from the headlight switch.
Do you have power on the tail light fuse ?

My brake lights work but my tail lights and reverse lights don't work. Also my dash lights quit when I changed the switch for my headlights.

Check your fuses. I had the same problem with a 90 Honda civic. Dash lights went out, tail lights also went out. Replaced 1 fuse and all came back on.

Interior dash and running lights dont work but my signal and brake lights work else works

Look at fuse #18, a 15 amp fuse, in the fuse block. This fuse powers both the tail lights and instrument cluster lights. Usually both of these light systems are powered by the same fuse so when your cluster isn't lit up you'll know right away that your tail lights aren't working as it's not safe to drive without tail lights. Your brake, turn, and head lamps are powered by different circuits. Hope this helps and good luck!
