the face plate either has hinges at the back so you gently pull on it to open
or there is a plug with a hidden screw,,carefully use a screw driver to get the plug out & then remove the screw & take off the door & change the bulb

SOURCE: On my 2003 chevy suburban

with a multi meter,, place the positive lead into the socket while a friend pushes on the brake,, the neg lead should be grounded to the bulb holder, if you get power your light bulb is either shot or its not grounded correctly in the holder, if you get no power, you have a loose or broken wire in the system, and all you can do is back track it

How do I replace the battery or batteries in a Gerber LED flashlight? The bottom has a black plate that doesn't seem to be removeable.

Hello. The "plate" is not supposed to be removed (according to Gerber Blades). The correct way to remove and replace the battery would be to unscrew the end cap all the way. The Battery will then fall away allowing for a new battery insertion. Hope this helps.

How do i change a headlight

1.FACE THE VEHICLE SO THAT BATTERY IS ON YOUR RIGHT;

2. REMOVE THE BLACK PLASTIC PIECE THAT RUNS OVER RADIATOR BETWEEN HOOD LATCH AND FAN. IT IS ABOUT 53 1/2" LONG AND HOLDS THE HOOD PROP CLIP. (3 PLASTIC PUSH RETAINERS & 2 SHEET METAL SCREWS);

3. REMOVE THE GRILL ASSEMBLY UNDERNEATH THE PIECE IN STEP 2 BY PUSHING DOWN FIRMLY ON 4 RETAINER CLIPS WHICH RUN ALONG THE TOP. USE A WIDE SLOT SCREWDRIVER. PULL UP GENTLY ON GRILL ASSEMBLY. IT WILL POP OUT. THE GRILL ASSEMBLY EXTENDS UNDER EACH HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY (HA) AND IT DISPLAYS THE CHEVROLET LOGO IN THE MIDDLE. MY GRILL ASSEMBLY POPPED OUT EASILY AND ALL THE OTHER RETAINER CLIPS ON THE BOTTOM AND BENEATH AND TO THE SIDE OF HA WERE AUTOMATICALLY RELEASED WITHOUT ANY FUSS;

4. ON TOP OF HA SEE ONE TAB (ABOUT 1" LONG)ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND ONE ON THE LEFT (THE ONE ON L IS CLOSER TO THE FENDER);

5. PULL UPWARD DIRECTION ON TABS. THEY WILL SLIDE UPWARD A COUPLE OF INCHES AND WILL RELEASE THE HA WHICH YOU CAN THEN PULL OUT TOWARDS YOU;

6.AT BACK OF THE HA, REMOVE 2 ROUND RUBBER CAPS (ABOUT 4" IN DIAMETER)--ONE FOR LOW BEAM--ONE FOR HIGH. REVEAL BULBS. UNSNAP THE WIRE HARNESS FROM BULB BASE AND TURN BULB 1/4 TURN CLOCKWISE (REMEMBER YOU ARE FACING THE TRUCK)

7.REPLACE BULB(S). #9006 BULB IS GRAY-BASE, FOR HIGH BEAM ON OUTSIDE. #9005 IS BLACK-BASE, LOW BEAM TO INSIDE OF HIGH BEAM.

CHANGING HIGH AND LOW AND REASSEMBLY TOOK ABOUT HALF HOUR. GOOD LUCK.

ALTERNATIVE:
IF YOU ARE REPLACING THE PASSENGERSIDE HEADLIGHT JUST REMOVE THE AIR FILTER COVER AND PULL PLUG OUR FROM BEHIND HEADLIGHT AND REPLACE. BE CAREFUL HANDLING LIGHT BULB.
TO CHANGE THE ONE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE JUST REACH IN FRONT OF THE BATTERY TO ACCESS THE PLUG AND HEADLILGHT. TOOK ABOUT 5 MINUTES. ENJOY YOU TRAILBLAZER, GREAT TRUCK.
Thank you for using fixya

Directions for replacing fog lamp bulb on 2005 hyundai xg350

first start by popping the hood then removing the gray caps covering ether the low beam or high beam depending on witch your replacing these are located on the right front by the battery and left front by the windshield fluid reserve then undo the metal clamp securing the bulb then carefully remove the bulb keeping in mint to only attempt this after the bulb has cool because they get extremely hot and never touch the bulb if you plan on using then again after that disconnect the wire harness from the bulb then take your new bulb and it will plug right in.WARNING HID BULBS WILL NOT WORK OR CONNECT PROPERLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE A COMPLETE HID KIT.

Broke my gerber 3.0 flashlight

Wow what entertainment. Both the poster and the bobint17 don't have a clue how this flashlight works... why answer a question you don't know the answer too? To screw with people? To sound like you know what you're doing?

Anyway, the Gerber TX 3.0 uses a Luxeon 3 LED. There is no bulb. It is not designed as a user replaceable item and unfortunately even someone skilled at soldering and such can't fix the light because the head is permanently attached and not designed to be removed allowing access to the LED assembly. Can the head be removed? Possibly. Will it damage something while trying to remove it with a lot of force? Possibly. Should you try? No. Why? Because the light has a limited lifetime warranty from Gerber. Send it to them and they will fix or replace it!!!
