If there is power to the main board, would suspect the board is the issue, however, if the pump, motor , water solenoid ect has a fault, machine will not fire up

SOURCE: Whirlpool AWO/D 4505 Washing Machine

Unplug your machine and unclip the plastic trim panel across the bottom of the machine (front) to reveal the circular pump filter cover. Unscrew this cover with your fingers and remove any debris inside. Put the cover back on, clip the panel back on and try your machine again. Should be fine.

SOURCE: i need to clen the pump on a whirlpool washing

hello mam you cant clean the pump but you can clean the filter of the drain line. and if you want to clean it you should use a descaling powder this will be available with the washing machine service centers.

No power to Whirlpool awo/d5727. I have checked the fuse and the socket but still have no power.

You say you checked "socket" and the "fuse," did you mean the AC wall outlet (115V) and a fuse or breaker in the main power panel?
Nearly all circuits involving water are protected by a Ground Fault Interrupter that can be servicing several wall outlets (perhaps one not near the washing machine) or can be located as part of a circuit breaker in your main power panel.
The GFI outlets will have one or two push buttons located between the outlets and a combination GFI/overcurrent breaker will also have at least one button where others will have none.
If you find one that is tripped, try resetting it. If it will not reset, unplug the washing machine and try again.
If it now stays on, your machine may have an electrical path causing it to trip and using an unprotected outlet may be unsafe and an indication that the appliance itself may have electrical leakage which could be otherwise dangerous.
The circuit breakers in the main power panel can also fail (they didn't 20 years ago) and we have replaced 3 in a home only 5 years old already so they are not made well anymore.

I have a Whirlpool AWO/ 41628. That refuses to power up and has no power indication on its control panel

Try reseating the wires under the control panel. Fully disconnect plastic connectors, inspect the ends, reconnect. Individual wires that don't readily pull from their connections should just be wiggled. Reseat what you can and wiggle the rest; don't break anything. If still nothing inspect the control panel for burnt resisters or swollen capacitors. If it looks good let me know.

AWO 3551 have a FP fault . help

thanks for your advice. I have an AWO 3551 Whirlpool front-loading washing machine. It works but I think it's highly likely that the filter needs a clean and is long overdue. I've opened the front plate and unscrewed the plastic cover but the filter doesn't come out at the same time. It seems pretty stuck and there is nothing to get a purchase on (unless I get pliers and turn counter clockwise - but slightly concerned that might break it...?) Any suggestions of how to make it 'come out to play'?!

Whirlpool AWOE 8748 has no power. Changed fuse and tried in a different socket. Still no power.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Sorry but with such a fault it is extremely difficult for anybody on this forum to remotely guess what is wrong with your washer.

It could be internal wiring/plugs sockets, control panel switches, control PCB.
I fear that your only real option is a service call as the engineer will have the right equipment to safely diagnose what is wrong.

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
