Not sure what exactly you need to know. Are you trying to lift the presser foot or change the presser foot to another one? If it is lifting, there will be a lever of some kind behind the machine. On one of my Husqvarna machines it was a big flat "paddle" shaped lever, not sure what shape it is on the Emerald machines. Lift the lever from the bottom upwards and outwards. Most Husqvarna machines have clip on-and-off feet. You just gently pull forwards on the foot (while the presser foot is raised) to remove it, then push the new one on making sure the small bar part of the presser foot goes into the clip on the presser foot ankle.

Have you checked the Husqvarna website for USA? Following is a link to a page where you may be able to identify your needle plate & possibly order the part through the Husqvarna website.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

SOURCE: I have an Emerald 116
HOW TO FIX YOUR FEEDER TEETH (DOG TEETH) ON EMERALD 116/118/120 IF THEY STOP WORKING....
So this is just a temporary solution to this problem... after reading through the user's guide (which really needs to be updated to have more troubleshooting suggestions), and basically taking apart various parts of the machine, I found a temporary solution.
1. Unscrew the Face Place (where the needle is attached to. #9 in User Guide Overview) There is only one screw on the side right underneath the Pressure Foot Pressure Dial (#8 in User Guide Overview). Taking off the Face Place gives you room to use a screwdriver for step 2...
2. Unscrew the Needle Plate (#12 in User Guide Overview), and take out the Bobbin holder (black). Slide the lever for the Feed Teeth to the raised position, and with your forefinger pop up the Feed Teeth (underneath the needle) to the raised position. You will here a click... and you are set to go. Reassembly your machine and get back to sewing!

Good luck. I am in australia and I need one too but the place where I bought my machine are surly and not helpful. don't know how these people keep their businesses with the attitude toward customers that they have.
Anyway the only answer for me seems to be to send for one to the USA online for about $89. I opened my old foot to see what was wrong with it and discovered the total cost of the plastic parts would be about $30 and that would be stretching it. Not worth the money asked but what can you do?
