Open to see the top of the color wheel where it turns. This can be metal to metal, and can take a little lubricant. Oil will just run down the color wheel, so consider a little dab of Vaseline or light grease.
Apply a little 3 in 1 oil or something comparable to the shaft of the drive wheel that turns the cylinder and it there is an idler wheel on top, also apply to that. Be careful not to get oil on the surface that is being driven as this will start slipping and cause the cylinder not to turn.
See if they are catching anywhere then a very small drop of oil
