I have a 2003 Ford Ranger 3.0 and I have an exhaust manifold bolt that has broken off inside the manifold, and the evaporator coil, and other AC parts are in the way .what options do i have on this

With the exhaust manifold off. If there is some of the bolt sticking out. You'll need a torch to heat the head up, red hot around the bolt. Also a pair of needle nose vise grips to grab it with and turn it out. You'll have to heat it several times to get out. No bolt showing, you best bet it to pull the head. Drill the bolt and extract it.

Honda lawnmower broken shaft

Hello. If you know anyone who knows how to weld, ask them if they can help you weld the shaft back together and try to weld it at the broken ends. Good luck.

My exhaust is coming out at the front of the car not the rear

Do you mean broken off and stuck inside or broken off and fallen out? Broken off and fallen out in this case is a good thing. Sounds like you mean the exhaust is broken at the manifold but what isn't clear is which piece, the manifold or the exhaust pipe. The manifold is a part of the engine, the exhaust pipe is connected to the manifold via the flange you speak of so if it is broken (coming from the engine as a base point) before the flange you need to change the manifold (less likely - hardly ever breaks - usually made of cast iron or cast aluminium) or where they typically break just after the flange (exhaust pipes are notorious for rusting out here, you will need to replace the front exhaust pipe and donut (gasket within the flange). Due to the high heat in this area it is extremely common for the bolts holding the pipe to the manifold to not just be ceased to it (lube will probably do no good) but to actually weld (or forge if you will) themselves to the metal of the pipe, in which case you need to cut them out with a torch. A good mechanic can usually do this without damaging the manifold. That is why it is a good thing if they have broken off and fallen out, much easier to change then welded in bolts (which would not fall out). I say replace the front exhaust pipe because without knowing which year your protege is or if it has an after market exhaust I don't know for sure if it is a one piece system or more than one piece. If it is a one piece you will need to either change the whole thing or do some cutting and welding to piece a section in. In which case, I do not recommend cutting the new piece you purchase but if the old exhaust on the vehicle is in alright shape from the muffler back you may be able to section it off and just replace the front section. Piecing it together would require at least one more piece, one to contact the old pipe to the new which would also need to be welded on but this method can still be cheaper (most of the time). Anything other than a simple in/out replacement will require torches and obviously if the bolts are welded in it is not a simple in/out job.

Link sway bar mount rotted off front end appears that bracket is welded to rearend

Yes, it is welded on. Generally you can have a welding shop repair what you have or if you can find one in a scrapyard that isn't usable (broken gears or other damage) they can cut the bracket off and the welding shop can weld it onto yours. Only other option would be to replace the entire axle assembly end to end but that's more expensive and would depend upon if the other brackets on yours are in good condition or are on the verge of failure as well, making a repair less of a good idea.
If you do need to replace it, make sure you match the gear ratio or you will have bigger problems than what you have now.

In My stroller, the side Steel rod was broken. Kept heavy weight on the seat and it fel down. pls advice where and how i can repair it.Dont remeber the Make and Model Number. Its single seat Pram.

Welding thin wall tubing requires skill and a special kind of welder. Google you local welding companies. Could have a problem if any plastic components are near to the break. DIY option could be find a smaller steel tube to slot in side broken tube and pop rivet.

No its not and will cause a problem in the long run. The dealer should have sent the repair out to a local muffler shop for welding. Go back to dealer and make them do it, or tell them you are going to call the local GM zone manager!

Broken latch on film door

Usually on this level Nikon it was a plastic "hook", part of the door moulding, that was retained by the latch mechanism in the body. The broken part may still be in there - if it is trip the latch and recover it with a tiny screwdriver or even a needle. If you can't find a replacement back door you can try welding the hook back in place with a low-temperature soldering iron - with the tip perfectly clean and a very steady hand - as long as the door is thermoplastic and not thermosetting. If that doesn't work bend a paperclip or similar to exactly the right shape with the free ends (roughened) long enough to extend into the plastic of the door by 4-5mm., heat the wire and push slowly into the edge of the door. There are many variations of this technique that I've used, all require extremely careful work! Best tip: spend more time thinking than doing. Good luck.

Broken bracket

Hi, I have the Acme 6001 Juicer and I love it! I would take the broken bracket and the juicer to a machine shop that does welding. Shouldn't cost more than a few bucks for them to spot weld the bracket back on. A good maching shop can fix this as they will have another bracket to reference the repair. hope this helps...gary One of our local shops can fix about anything and they are very reasonable and pretty quick.
