Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
Switches are often badly made. The button itself breaks and comes loose from the underside. When the bottom of the coffeemachine is removed after loosening some Phillips screws, one can easily remove the defective switch. Switches are not expensive, only a few dollars. Do not remove the wires from the defective switch before there is a new one. There are usually three
metal attachments for the wires, two in a silver colour and one in a yellow colour. It is important to attach the wires in exactly the same way as was at the defective switch. If the apparatus still doesn't work properly, put some water with some vinegar in the water tank and switch it on. The vinegar will make calcium in the apparatus disappear.
