I keep getting an error that says Lightroom encountered an error when reading from its preview cache and needs to quit. Lightroom will attempt to fix this problem the next time it launches. This keeps

You need to delete the Preview Cache. It is located in the same folder as the Lightroom Catalog. The preview cache name ends with Previews.LRDATA and should be deleted. Do not confuse this with *.LRCAT, which should not be deleted.

Windows Defender 0x800106ba Service Error on Automatic Startup

Some times even when the Windows Defender service is set to automatic you still might see the Error below and even when you have tried this site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/931849 which tells you to remove the program and then use the windows installer cleanup utility form HERE and start again you still get the same error

d349a7d.jpg

This is a method is bit drastic I suggest that first you update manually the definitions from HERE then download my Windows Defender FIX from my Public SKYDRIVE then restart you PC it should now fix the above error it will re-register all the DLLs that are needed to allow the error to go

Phaser 8500 error code 19,003.48:64663

19.003:48 is the error code 64663is the number of pages the unit has printed. the error indicates a power difference of +- 20% when trying to drive the printhead. The issue is the Electronics Module (System logic and power) or the Wave Amplifier (Printhead Controller). Both of the parts are fairly easy to replace. If it is the wave amp it is a somewhat affordable part.if it is the EM you should replace the printer. It isn't worth the fix.

Errror 85

How to fix the System error 85 has occurred?One thing to mention is that even though you may be mapping some drive letter to a network resource, the same drive letter for other Terminal Services sessions may work as expected.

Use another drive letter...
Another point is that a different drive letter that is not typically used also works as expected. If it is feasible for you, use different drive letter when mapping to your network resource.

Restart Terminal Services-based component...
If using another drive letter to map your network resource is not an option, you can try to correct the issue by restarting the Terminal Services-based component.

Restart Terminal Services...
Another way to fix the problem is to restart the whole Terminal Services service. You can do so by executing the following steps:

-> Go to the Start Menu
-> Run
-> Type services.msc and hit ENTER
-> Locate Terminal Services
-> Right click it and select RESTART

This should break the connection between the Terminal Services and the resource and make the network drive letter available for your use.

Upgrade Windows...
The good news is that some attempts have been made by Microsoft to handle this error message and the underlying causes by Windows. The System error 85 has occurred was often visible in Microsoft Windows 2000. The Service Pack 3 and Service Pack 4 include some fix for this.

Lens Error, Restart

The following blog outlines some repair options for a lens error. They won't work for all cases, but they're worth a try if the camera's no longer under warranty:
