Baxi solo 15 he is tripping on indicating a fan fault it will reset but only after about 20 minutes, what would cause the problem

It has had the problem for a while so we had a 'deep' service done on it the fan was removed and spun easily, after the service the fault is still there it can run ok for hours and then trip on the fan fault.

SOURCE: AC breaker trips after 10 minutes

Whats the amp breaker? Is this for the inside unit or the outside condenser? If the inside and gas heat you have a bad fan motor, If its an electric furnace , the same, but if its the outside unit, the fan could be going bad, locking up and the compressor still runs and pulls high ampsand tripps breaker or the compressor is just pulling too many amps due to plugged coils with dirt , grass or weeds blocking airflow.(koolbreezes74401@yahoo.com)

SOURCE: Baxi solo 3 70pf boiler problem

This happened to me and it was a rubber pipe inside had perished so it was detecting a loss of pressure. You can see it if you take the main cover off and also the front clipped on cover. Its at the top on the right. You need to replace it with heatproof pipe. Good luck!

I have a baxi combi boiler which wont start and trips the electric..plumber has changed fan, ignition and now pcb to no effect...help!

Start by diconnecting main supply to Boiler (at the boiler input) and see if it trips the electric. This would point to fault in wiring from board to boiler.
Then check several points with meter to find short-circuit.
If not, then you have to TURN OFF THE GAS SUPPLY and connect and disconnect items such as solenoids, switches, board etc; until you find what causes it to trip.

Hy108tgt

Our HY-108 (not a HY-108TGT) does not have a filter when it was purchased new from a Retailer.

IMHO, Honeywell/KAZ designed these Tower Fans to be disposable if they fail to work or need cleaning.

These Fans are hard to disassemble for service or maintenance, OEM replacement Parts are unavailable to the general public, service documentation is hard to find, and the Tower Fans tend to have a short Product lifespan. THEY BREAK EASILY! The OEM Service Manual points to replacing complete parts assemblies because few electronics diagnostics and no schematics are provided.

The HY-108 case can start to be disassembled (I have done so on ours) by *First* removing the screws and separating/removing the plastic Base from the main Case assembly. *Second* remove the Phillips-Head screws on the back of the Case. *Third*, the internal plastic 6 Tabs that keep the 2 halves held together need to be gently separated - careful, they break easily. You need to gently loosen the internal plastic "Tabs" by using a thin flat-head screwdriver to gently and carefully separate the outer shell cover.

Hoover dyn8164d had code E03 then E16 now E08

Hi.
These specific codes indicate the following:
E08 means that the Motor jammed or tacho fault
E16 means that the heating element is shorted or that there is a short in the circuit containing the element.
E03 This error code indicates that the water is not draining quickly enough.
Before doing anything it is worth removing the washing machine mains plug from the power outlet and leaving the machine disconnected for at least ten minutes. This will reset the codes if no faults still exist. Then plug the machine back in and select required wash routine. If all is well, well done you just needed to reset the machine. If a fault code is still showing then it would indicate there is still a problem in the area indicated.
You said you had checked that the filter was ok, it is also worth checking that your drainage hose is not blocked or
kinked.

Were is the a.c. blower motor located?

The blower motor is placed within the blower fan unit . You will need to remove the dash board front and also remove the blower motor assmebly with the filter and vent settings to remove the blower for servicing and cleaning.
Removal of the dash and the motor unit can be easily done if you follow the pattern to remove the screws that fixes the motor body to the rotary fan unit.

We have a 1999 "Thermal

DO NOT install a 20 amp breaker, you can cause a fire. The breaker is rated for the WIRES, and unless you change out the wires, the 15 amp wires will overheat and can cause a fire.
Typically, A/C units need dedicated power, with nothing else on that circuit.
One step that you may try is a new 15 amp breaker. Once a breaker starts tripping, is starts tripping earlier....
You may wind up running a new circuit for the A/C, if you do, size it for the A/C.
