This is an air flow issue. Take the hose off the back of the dryer and run it and see if the error goes away. If it does not, something is plugging the inside of the dryer airflow.

My whirlpool condense dryer 6th sense the light keep flashing red saying clean filter, empty bottle and heater exchange I have done all that and it still won't work can you help please.

Have you tried unplugging it from the power source and then plugging it back in? This may prompt the mini computer inside the dryer to reset to the proper default settings. Best of luck!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

It sounds as though the water level sensing is misbehaving because it should not allow 'too much' water in but just the correct amount.
It could be a simple fault like the level sensing pipes and tubes have an air leak so that the sensor does not get triggered. Sorry but you will need a service call ;-0(
Good luck,

Dryer will not start cycle

Hi-- none of the solutions I've read here are working. Same problem, dryer not starting, it says "Sensing..." and then "Wet" and does nothing. It worked fine on the last load, except I noticed it read 11 minutes for a very, very long time (I think it got stuck). New load? "Sensing..." etc.

Dryer starts runs for 4min flashes e1 turns off

The E-1 error code is a thermistor error, some problem with the variable resistance.....this can be caused by over use of fabric softener sheets, which can cause lint to become tacky and coat the thermistor, or it just simply failed. Try replacing the thermistor.
