Hi Lisa
There is no port or other way to connect to the wireless devices. Only the wireless on the tablet can connect you to the internet.
Good luck

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: my nextbook tablet says its scanning for wifi but its not recognizing any why/

Try rebooting. If that doesn't work, try factory reset. If that doesn't work, your wifi card/antenna is fried.

SOURCE: nextbook tablet help

you need to find the network connections icon, and open the wireless manager. WiFi access is free at Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, libraries, schools, etc. Read the manual on how to find the wireless provider icons and connect to them.

My nextbook tablet willnt connect and stay connected to my wifi

Is your wifi signal stable?
If you have got a good and stable wifi signal, the wireless card of your nextbook is defective. The problem is that these parts are integrated to the tablet and can't be removed or replaced, so in this case your problem has no solution.

How do I connect my Nexbook 8 to the internet on my laptop

You connect your Nextbook to YOUR WiFI HOME NETWORK (not the Internet) FROM THE NEXTBOOK, not from the laptop. On your Nextbook, go to Settings then Wi-Fi. If your Nextbook is already connected to your WiFi home network you will see the network's name there and you are done. If it is not connected, a list of available WiFi networks appears. Tap on the name of your home network and it will connect to it. If your network is password-protected, you will be asked to enter it.
