Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My son's tablet is less than 4 months old and it keeps shutting off even when fully charged. It is a 9 inch nextbook and was purchased at Walmart.

Hold the volume UP botton down when it is OFF, then while holding that button down press and hold the power on button and keep both pressed for about 10 seconds. Then release.

How to fix a imito tablet that wont turn on?

When you are sure the battery is fully charged I don't think there is much you can do.
Lots of things, like a bad charger, a bad cable, bad connectors and a bad battery, can be the cause the tablet does not have enough power. But when there is enough power, the on / off switch cam be defect, or any electronic part in the tablet could be. Without the tablet i my hands and measurement tools to verify everything it will be impossible to tell what is wrong. Take it to a repair centre, but before you leave it, ask what they charge for the diagnose. Not sure you can swap the battery and how difficult it would be to get one?
Perhaps that is the problem, but don't take my word for it.

My tablet is totally dead! I tried charging it twice now, both times for about 12 hours, both times at outlets that are functional. It is just two months old, so I can't see what could be wrong with it....

You could try doing a hard reset by holding down the power button and the volume down button at the same time for 20-30 seconds and then see if the device comes on.

Make sure you have it plugged in or that there is enough battery to power on the device before performing the hard reset.

Hope that helps!
