Skullcandy lowrider headphone band snapped or broke. earphones work perfect but can't wear on my head.

If you live in the USA or Canada Skull Candy have a lifetime warranty on thier products so I would check with them. Even if you don't still enquire.

My earphones were working an hour ago but now the left one doesn't work. i can't buy anything new and i don't have the warranty... please help I've tried everything!

I think Skullcandys have a manufactures warranty no matter what, it wouldn't hurt to try their website.

By the way, skullcandys are prone to be defective early on, surprisingly mine have lasted me 3 years!
Hope this helps.

How do I fix skullcandy earphones? I think a wire is lose because the sound comes in and out when you move the earphone. How do you open the earphones up to fix the wires? Thank you for you time

I'm sorry to bring you bad news, but the most likely thing is that the copper conductor has become fractured inside the wire. The best you can do is to carefully identify which end of the wire has become broken (it usually happens at an end, where it goes in to an earbud, or a plug) and cut it back to the break, and then pry open the bud, cut back the insulation and re-solder the conductors. This is a pretty involved process, and to be honest, even with all the tools, I wouldn't attempt this. Oh, and plugs are usually moulded, so you can't do it, but if you try to buy a new plug in a store it will cost almost as much as new earbuds.

The right ear speaker on my ipod ear phones no longer emits sound. Is there anyway to fix this?

If you are handy at repairing electronics, you can splice the white cord open and re-solder the wire if it is loose. However I NEVER use the iPod earphones - reason being is when I listen to a song on my iPod and the dial slips past 80% then speakers usually blow. I would buy a pair of Skullcandies, I have 2 pairs and they have never blown. They are only $14.99 at any Target/Walmart and you can definitely save yourself the hassle. Those earphones brand new at stores such as Radioshack are about $29.99, and are very mediocre.

One earbud stopped working

what happens is inside the cord where you have your ear phones connecting to your ipod, there is a thin wire that can easily brake. it happens if u for example, rap your ear phones around your ipod. if your rap the chords to tight, the wire can break. it can even brake when you move the cord too much. such as spinning it, shaking it and such.
the wire that breaks connects to one side or both sides of your earphones, which produces the sound. if you can hear only on one side, the cord is damaged and cant be fixed.

i would go and buy new ear phones
i perfer skullcandy in-ear earphones because the wire is secrurly wrapped, and doesnt brake easily such as other producers. the skullcandy ear phones are in my mind are much better then other earphones. you actually feel like your in the room or at a live show.

No sound

Try messing with the plug. Otherwise your wires might have broken somewhere. This happened to me from using them so much, and it wasn't just these. It happened to a pair of expensive sony earphones. Just happens when you use them a lot.

I can't seem to hear anything from my left ear in my Skullcandy Lowrider headphones. Is there anyway to get them fixed with out needing to get a new pair as they were a present??

If you have used the headphones a lot then your wires probably broke. I had the same thing happen to me, and also on a pair of expensive sony earphones. So it's not the brand. It just happens over time when use headphones/earphones a lot.
