Cant hear people on the other end

go to your phone provider and say they **** balls!!! it not your fault that happen to me too thy made it download it faster

I think there is problem with phones mike. Try calling with headphone if they can hear its right.

The problem with your phone is that the earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Change the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Problem is on your Headphone Interface, go to nearest service centre and change that part. or clean that part

The problem could be due to some contact error in the headphone jack of ur phone. Please re insert the headphone and remove it. Now try making a call with the speaker volume put to maximum. Dont forget to rate the solution. Thank You..

Not certain... but you need to check menu - tools - settings - general - enhancement and make sure your default is set to "headset".
When you plug headphones only (not the headset/mic combo) into the 2.5mm jack, it will go into a headphone mode where you can hear through the headphones but you must speak through the phone microphone - it sounds like it is going into that mode on you. It can only be the setting above or possible a short in the jack (though that doesn't really explain why it is happening only when you receive a call).
If you have 2.5mm headsets (or can pick up a small 3.5 to 2.5 adapter), you can also try having them call you and see if you can hear through the headphones - that would prove it is going into headphone only mode.

This just happen to me 45 seconds ago what you do is put the phone on the charger and make a call to your self or voice mail and then you unplug the charger and hit your speaker or try and hit your speaker button while its on charger then unplug one or the other. this is what i did to fix this problem

may be u should try to showing to any nokia care...these r not adjustable prob's within us,may b the pcb inside has got an loose contact to it..don check urself..since these costly phones will have complex to complex issues..

Dear. Ur hand free connector is short may be water inside. just open it and clean and reassemble will ok sure.

hi. reset your phone settings to default and adjust for headset connection try to connect the headset to another phone and check if the mic is good good luck
