The stove is on a 2004 boat - I assume the stove is original. The burners light, but it just took me ages to boil a cup of water in a sauce pan with the lid on. Do old stoves lose their efficiency?

Gas stoves don't usually loose heating efficiency. Check that the gas control is allowing it to go from low to high. Being LPG, there may be a pressure problem. LPG have a regulator on or close to the bottle. Being on a boat, I would get a competent / licensed Gas Tech to check it. Better to be safe. LPG appliances on a boat can be very dangerous if not serviced or repaired properly.

Why wont my bottom oven heat up, it will ignite but wont heat, has the bulb anything to do with it,its blown HELP ZANUSSI ZCG660GXC LPG gas with electric ignition and clock.

The gas valve for the lower oven won't open after the igniter starts glowing. If there is no orange glow from the igniter, then it needs to be replaced.

FLAMES TO HIGH IN OVEN G E GAS RANGE

Are you on propane (LPG) or natural gas? If on propane, then the oven has not been converted to propane properly.

Why does Oven soot up during use?

Are you on propane (LPG) or natural gas? I would guess that you are on propane, and that your oven has not been converted over to LPG correctly. The regulator needs to be set up for LPG, and the oven gas orifaces need to be tightened down, and the air valves opened up. If you don't know what these terms mean, then you need to contact a professional, because you don't want to monkey around with gas!

How to adjust flame on Westinghouse freestyle gas oven

The flame is regulated by the thermostat you don't say if it's too high or too low. Suggest you buy an oven thermometer available for a few dollars at most homeware shops, compare the temperatures then you will see if the thermostat is working or not.

OVEN FLAME TOO HIGH ON A A GE CONVERTED TO LP

You should have a pressure regulator between your stove and your propane bottle. It's probably delivering too much propane at too high of a pressure to the stove.. If you don't have a regulator, THAT would be your problem. A regulator set to too high a pressure makes flame too high and flame may even try to blow itself out. I've remedied this by taking a small cover off the center of the regulator and adjusting a screw.. (Not all regulators can be adjusted.) If adjusting isn't possible, I'd suggest a new pressure regulator (for LPG). Note: A regulator for LPG is NOT set up the same as a regulator for natural gas.

When the oven is heating up, a light inside the oven flashes very brightly. Not sure what that means or if it is unsafe.

when the oven is cold open it and ensure the light inside is screwed in fully. It is probably making poor contact when it is cold.
If that does not fix it, ignore it. If the power to the element was shorting it would trip the earthleakage or your main power switch.

329H portable heater Can this be converted to a gas bottle fitting will it be ok what is the use age and how many watts of power to run the electronics etc

You need to convert the unit if you are changing from Natural gas to LPG. This involves getting a full conversion kit for your model and changing burner , gas pressures and electronic settings.

Power draw on high remains at 22Watts. Input is almost identical for either natural or LPG gas as you would expect but running costs depends on how much you pay for your LPG. For example in Australia we use 45kg bottles of LPG, they retails at about A$110 delivered. One of these would last about 170 hours running a 329 on high.About 2 litres of LPG per hour
